Lava is the sole Indian smartphone maker still trying to stay in competition amid Chinese dominance in India. The brand has now unveiled the Lava Agni 4, a premium-looking phone with a Dimensity 8350 SoC. In this article, we'll delve into the specs, features, and expected price of Lava Agni 4 in Nepal.
Lava Agni 4 Overview
Design and Display
As aforementioned, the Lava Agni 4 brings in a premium vibe with its design. Boasting a curved body, the middle frame is aluminum. Likewise, the capsule-shaped camera module imprints "AGNI" text in between, giving an eye-like visual through the dual cameras. You also get a customizable Action Key on the side alongside the volume rockers and power key.
On the display side, Lava hasn't compromised either. You are looking at a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. This 10-bit panel supports up to 2400nits of peak brightness.
Performance
Under the hood, the Agni 4 brings in some heat (in a positive way) with the Dimensity 8350 SoC. This powerful midrange chip has one core Cortex-A715 at 3350 MHz, three cores Cortex-A715 at 3200 MHz, and four cores Cortex-A510 at 2200 MHz. Handling the graphics is Mali-G615 MP6 GPU. Lava has paired this setup with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage. Meanwhile, the phone boots on Android 15 with stock Android UI. Interestingly, Lava has also baked its own AI system, known as Vayu AI, on this phone.
Camera, Battery, and Others
In terms of optics, the smartphone goes for a dual camera setup. It is headlined by a 50MP main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. Meanwhile, you get a 50MP selfie snapper with EIS. Videography-wise, this thing can shoot 4K res videos at 60fps from the main camera.
Fueling the entire setup is a 5000mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. Connectivity features include 5G, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, IR blaster, and a USB Type-C 3.2 port.
