Soon after the release of the Lava Bold N1 4G, the company launched its 5G variant as well. The new Lava Bold N1 5G has quite a few changes in relation to the 4G variant, and it snatches the “cheapest 5G phone” title from Lava’s own Shark 5G. Therefore, let’s dive into everything this phone has to offer, as well as the expected price in Nepal of the Lava Bold N1 5G.
Lava Bold N1 5G Overview
Design and display
The Bold N1 5G looks quite a bit different from its 4G counterpart. Since its rear camera module now sits in a rounded-corner box like on Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro Max.
It comes in two colors that Lava calls “Royal Blue” and “Champagne Gold”, both with a glossy back design. And overall, this phone is IP54 dust and splash-resistant rated too.
For the display, the Lava Bold N1 5G brings a large 6.75-inch IPS LCD panel with an HD+ resolution. This screen also gets a 90Hz refresh rate, but since it’s a budget phone, don’t expect any special glass protection here.
Performance and battery
The Lava Bold N1 5G is powered by the Unisoc T765 (6nm) chipset that Lava claims manages to score 400,000+ in AnTuTu. This 5G chip is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB of storage.
Not to mention, it is further expandable to 1TB via a microSD card. The Bold N1 5G boots on Android 15—and guess what?—it’s also completely free of bloatware or ads.
Unfortunately, the Lava Bold N1 5G has the same 5,000 mAh battery as its 4G variant. Whereas the charging speed remains the same at 10W as well.

Camera and rest
Moving to the cameras, there’s a 13MP sensor at the back alongside an auxiliary lens that Lava hasn’t detailed. At the front is a 5MP selfie shooter inside a teardrop notch.
What’s interesting is that Lava says the Bold N1 5G’s main camera can even shoot 4K 30 fps videos, which is incredibly rare in this segment. We doubt it will actually be any good, but this is a pretty bold move from Lava.
Other than this, the Lava Bold N1 5G supports up to two SIM cards. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
