Lenovo LOQ 15 (2025) is now available in Nepal with AMD CPUs as well

Nagmani International, one of the authorised distributors of Lenovo and Asus laptops in Nepal, has introduced two new AMD variants of Lenovo's LOQ gaming laptops. With the new Lenovo LOQ 15 bringing AMD's Ryzen 200 series processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 GPU. So in this article, I will discuss everything you need to know about the Lenovo LOQ 15 2025 (15AHP10), including its official price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

Design and Display

Starting with the design, this year's LOQ 15 has a simple yet stylish look that we've seen on older LOQ laptops as well. It comes in a single "Luna Grey" finish and an all-plastic build quality. It weighs around 2.4 kg while measuring up to 23.9 mm thick, which is pretty standard for a 15-inch gaming laptop.

On the front, we are greeted by a 15.6-inch IPS LCD screen that offers Full HD resolution (1920 × 1080) and a 144Hz refresh rate. Meaning if you play a lot of fast-paced games, they're gonna look really smooth on the LOQ 15. Lenovo has also included G-SYNC support to prevent screen-tearing issues. And while its 300 nits of peak brightness isn't the brightest, we doubt you'll have any problem with indoor visibility on this gaming laptop. What's even better is that it covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut, making it ideal for gamers and content creators alike.

Performance

As I mentioned in the beginning, the Lenovo LOQ 15 2025 has AMD's fairly new "Ryzen 200” series CPU under its hood. Although you should know that this is simply a rebrand of Ryzen 8040 "Hawk Point" processors. Anyway, we have two CPU options to choose from. Both with 15 – 30W of configurable TDP. So there's the AMD Ryzen 5 220 with 6 cores, 12 threads, and a max frequency of 4.9 GHz. Or if you want more horsepower, you can go with the Ryzen 7 250 CPU, which has 8 cores, 16 threads, and 5.1 GHz of peak frequency. Oh, and the Ryzen 7 model also includes a 16 TOPS NPU. But we should remind you that the LOQ 15 2025 already has a much more powerful dedicated GPU for AI workload, so that's not a big deal at all.

Talking of GPU, we get NVIDIA's RTX 5050 graphics with 8GB of GDDR7 memory, a boost clock of 2,662 MHz, and 100W TGP on both models. Additionally, Lenovo has included its LA1 AI chip that is supposed to dynamically adjust heat management based on CPU and GPU load. On that note, the LOQ 15 2025 comes with Lenovo's "Hyperchamber Cooling Technology" that includes dual fans, heat sinks, and copper heat pipes. Both models feature 16GB of single-channel DDR5-5600 memory, but you can easily upgrade to 32GB by just adding another 16GB stick. And one of its two M.2 2280 slots houses a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Connectivity and rest

The port selection on the Lenovo LOQ 15 2025 is honestly pretty disappointing. There are three USB-A connections, all with just 5Gbps speeds. Not just that, but this guy also comes with a single USB-C port, alongside one HDMI 2.1, one RJ45 Ethernet port, and a standard 3.5mm combo audio jack. Anyway, the LOQ 15 supports WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless connectivity. You also get a white backlit keyboard with 1.5mm travel chiclet keys. For audio, there are two 2W downfiring speakers with Nahimic Audio and dual-array microphones for clear sound. Its 5MP camera with E-shutter should be fine for casual video calls too. Battery life on this gaming laptop should be just about average with the included 60Wh cell that fills up via a 170W power adapter. The company also mentions that it supports Rapid Charge Pro, which can give you 50% power in just 30 minutes.
