Lenovo offers the V Gen 3 (2022) laptops in two form factors. There is a V14 for people looking for a portable laptop for school and office. It is 19.9mm thick and weighs around 1.7 kg. Then there is a V15 model, which is both thicker and heavier but brings a bigger 15.6-inch model. Since these are budget notebooks, they arrive in an all-plastic body with Business black and Iron grey colorways.
Outside of the obvious difference in diagonal length, the screens on V14 and V15 share the same specifications. The base models sport TN panels with FHD resolutions. You can also get IPS models with higher brightness and wider viewing angles for a slightly higher price.

Lenovo V Gen 3 comes in both Intel and AMD flavors. The Intel-powered V14 G3 IAP and V15 G3 IAP are available with the 12th Gen Intel Core i3-1215U, i5-1235U, and i7-1255U. On the other hand, you have V14 G3 ABA and V15 G3 ABA with Ryzen 5435U, 5625U, and 5825U. None of the models feature discrete graphics, so you need to be content with respective integrated solutions.
Inside, you get two memory slots—one with a soldered 4GB or 8GB DDR4-3200 RAM. You can insert an 8GB stick on the other to access dual-channel memory. The M.2 slot, on the other hand, caps out at 512GB. Models with a 38Wh battery also have an empty HDD drive for storage expansion.
