LG UltraGear GX9 Series announced with WOLED technology

LG Electronics is set to launch the UltraGear GX9 series of OLED gaming monitors at CES 2025. The series includes the 45GX990A model and features WOLED technology and curved displays. In this article, we will discuss everything about the upcoming LG UltraGear GX9, its expected price in Nepal.

LG UltraGear GX9 Overview

Display

The GX9 series features WOLED technology, offering deep blacks, vibrant colors, and reduced eye strain due to low blue light emissions. The monitors also include an Anti-Glare & Low Reflection coating for better visibility.

The 45-inch 5K2K OLED displays in the GX9 series provide a 5,120 x 2,160 resolution and a 21:9 aspect ratio. Meanwhile, the Dual-Mode functionality allows users to switch between the 21:9 and 16:9 aspect ratios. Moreover, the LG UltraGear 39GX90SA is a 39-inch 21:9 curved OLED monitor with webOS. Additionally, this model allows users to stream content directly without the need for a PC or set-top box.

Connectivity and Compatibility

The 45GX950A model is the first bendable 45-inch 5K2K OLED monitor with DisplayPort 2.1.Both models also support DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, USB-C, and VRR. Additionally, they are certified for NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.
