Moto G84 5G launched with vegan leather back, 50MP OIS camera

Motorola has launched the Moto G84 5G after skipping the G83 last year. The smartphone is now official in India with a Snapdragon 695 5G SoC and a 10-bit pOLED panel.  Now, let’s dive into the specs, features, and expected price of Moto G84 5G in Nepal.

Design and Display

The Moto G84 5G is available in Marshmallow Blue, Midnight Blue, and Viva Magenta color options. The former comes with a  PMMA back while the latter two get a vegan leather back. Furthermore, it carries a boxy form factor with flat frames and secures an IP54 rating against dust and water splashes. Getting to the front, you're looking at a 6.55-inch pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This FHD+ 10-bit panel also supports a 240Hz touch sampling rate and 1300nits of peak brightness.  

Performance

Running the show on the core is a three-year-old Snapdragon 695 chipset. This 5G silicon features two Kryo 660 Gold (Cortex-A78) cores at 2.2 GHz and six cores of Kryo 660 Silver (Cortex-A55) at 1.8 GHz. As for the software, the device runs on Android 13 out of the box with MY UX skin. In terms of memory and storage, it is available in a sole 12/256GB configuration.

Camera

Moving on, the G84 houses a dual camera setup, comprising a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide camera with 118° FoV. The latter one also doubles as a macro/depth sensing unit. Over on the front, a 16MP camera is present for selfies and video calls.

The Moto G84 5G is fueled by a 5,000mAh battery. Moreso, it supports 33W wired charging with a USB-C port. Other features include 5G, WiFi 5, GPS, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.1. You also get an indisplay fingerprint scanner for biometrics security.
