Noise Master Buds Open Overview

Design and Build

Starting with the design, the Noise Master Buds Open has an open-ear C-bridge design. Like usual open-ear earbuds, instead of going inside the ear canal, the earbuds clip around the curve of your ear, with the speaker sitting outside the ear. They weigh 5.5g each, making them suitable for long, everyday listening.

The charging case also moves away from deep vertical slots and features a flat, pebble-style layout where the buds sit horizontally inside the case, giving it a flatter and more distinctive look.

For controls, the Master Buds Open feature touch controls for functions such as playback, skipping tracks, and volume, with the gestures customizable through the Noise Audio app. Additionally, they carry an IPX4 rating for protection against sweat and minor splashes. The earbuds are available in Mercury and Carbon color options.

Audio and Call Quality

On the audio front, the Noise Master Buds Open packs a 10.8mm custom dynamic driver with a specialized diaphragm. The earbuds feature Sound by Bose tuning, which Noise says delivers balanced audio with deeper bass, clear mids, and crisp highs. The company has also co-developed its Dynamic EQ with Bose, with six sound presets available through the Noise Audio app for different listening preferences.

The earbuds also support Spatial Audio, adding a more immersive listening experience to compatible content. Meanwhile, the open-ear design means you can continue hearing your surroundings while listening to music.

For calls, the Noise Master Buds Open uses a quad-mic setup with ENC and DNN technology to pick up your voice while reducing surrounding noise. This should help keep your voice clearer in noisier environments.

Connectivity and Smart Features

The Noise Master Buds Open use Bluetooth 5.4 for connectivity and support Dual Connectivity, allowing you to stay connected to two devices at the same time. This can be useful if you frequently switch between your phone and laptop without wanting to disconnect and pair again. There is also Google Fast Pair for quicker setup with compatible Android devices.

On the smart features front, the earbuds work with Chat AI, giving you access to an AI voice assistant directly through the earbuds. Noise has also added AI transcription, which can transcribe conversations in real time and could come in handy during lectures, meetings, or interviews. You can access these features, along with other EQ or control settings, through the Noise Audio app.

Battery and Charging

In terms of endurance, the Noise Master Buds Open is said to deliver up to 6 hours of continuous playback on a single charge, while the charging case extends total battery life to up to 28 hours. This should be enough for several days of regular listening before you need to recharge the case, though actual endurance also varies based on your volume levels and active features like Spatial Audio.

For charging, the case uses a USB Type-C port and also supports fast charging, giving you some extra listening time when you are in a hurry.
