Under the hood, the OnePlus 12R will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The phone will come with up to 16GB of RAM and storage of up to 256GB. Additionally, the phone is expected to have a 5,500mAh battery, a 10% increase from last gen. Likewise, it will bring support for 100W fast charging.

Camera Upgrades

One of the noticeable upgrades in the OnePlus 12R will be its camera capabilities. It will feature a dedicated telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom as the third lens. This is a significant improvement over the OnePlus 11R’s 2MP macro camera. The other two cameras will stay unchanged. We are looking at a 50MP main and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. In addition, OnePlus 12R will sport a new 32MP selfie camera on the front.

OnePlus 12R Launch and Availability

The OnePlus 12 will probably be launched in December in China. For the global market, it will launch in January. Following that, the OnePlus 12R will be unveiled in January, likely in China initially. This device will release in other markets later, including India.
