OnePlus 13R is official with SD 8 Gen 3 and 2x telephoto lens, launching soon in Nepal

Alongside the OnePlus 13, its smaller sibling the OnePlus 13R has also jumped out of the curtain. This offering brings last-gen flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, a sizeable 6000mAh battery and more. The OnePlus 13R continues to carry the typical OnePlus vibe with a circular camera module and a flat frame design. You also get the iconic alert slider on the left while the antenna marks on the frame show it to be a metal frame. Likewise, the device is IP65 rated, protecting it from dust and water splash damage. OnePlus ships this guy in two cues: Nebula Noir and Astral Trail.

Performance

Under the hood, this semi-flagship phone packs a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC on the core. This last-gen flagship chip still packs a load of punch with its 4nm architecture, one prime Cortex-X4 core at 3.3GHz, three Cortex-A720 cores at 3.2GHz, two Cortex-A720 at 3.0GHz and two Cortex-A520 cores at 2.3GHz. Handling the graphics core here is an Adreno 750 GPU. Likewise, you get a larger VC cooling solution this time to keep the heat at bay.

OnePlus has paired this chip with 12/16GB of RAM and 256/512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Meanwhile, booting this guy is OxygenOS 15 built on top of Android 15.

Camera

Getting to the optics, the OnePlus 13R brings in a triple camera setup. It is headlined by a 50MP Sony LYT-700 with a 1/1.56-inch sensor size and OIS. Likewise, there is a 2X telephoto sensor as well this time and an 8MP ultrawide unit.
