OnePlus yesterday launched two mid-range smartphones: the OnePlus Turbo 6 and OnePlus Turbo 6V. The 6V, which I am going to discuss below, is actually a toned-down version of the Turbo 6. There' definitely some noticeable differences between these two, but the Turbo 6V isn't bad either, as it has a good amount of features and specifications on paper also looks visibly solid. Anyway, without further ado, let's jump into this article, where I will discuss everything about the OnePlus Turbo 6V, including its price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

      OnePlus Turbo 6V Overview

      Display and Design

      undefined

The OnePlus Turbo 6V features a 6.78-inch 1.5K flat OLED LTPS display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Its peak brightness hits 1,800 nits HBM, and the display supports 3,840Hz PWM dimming with 450 PPI pixel density. The screen is protected by Oppo Crystal Shield glass. You can get an even higher 165Hz refresh rate on the Turbo 6, if you're willing to spend more bucks.

The phone measures 8.50mm thick and weighs 215 grams. It carries IP66/68/69/69K rating for dust and water resistance.

      Performance

The OnePlus Turbo 6V runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset with Adreno 810 GPU, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. There's also a Display P3 lite chip for color processing. While the expensive Turbo 6 gets a more powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, the 6V gets the 7s Gen 4. Which, by the way, is still a capable chipset. It just wouldn't be able to match the performance of the 8s Gen 4, but you won't find almost any difference in regular use. Hardcore gaming is where differences start appearing.

      Battery and Charging

The bigger news here is obviously the mammoth of a battery. But looking at the developments in recent days, batteries anywa under 8000mAh have started to feel less enticing, because Honor already released a phone with 10,000mAh battery just recently. But still the Turbo 6V packs a massive 9,000mAh battery, which is very huge competing against most big batteries. It also supports 80W fast charging, 27W reverse wired charging and also supports bypass charging.

      Camera System

      undefined

The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS and a 2MP helper module. The front camera is 16MP.  The OnePlus Turbo 6V runs Android 16 with ColorOS 16 on top. It includes the standard suite of optical in-display fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and so on. And finally, there's also an X-axis linear motor for haptics and LHDC 5.0 support.
