OnePlus Watch 2 made its way to Nepal about a week ago. Meanwhile, the company has outed yet another smartwatch to the international market. In this article, we will discuss the fresh out-of-factory OnePlus Watch 2R in further detail while also estimating the price it might launch in Nepal.
On the front, you get the same AMOLED panel measuring 1.43 inches and stretching 466 x 466 pixels in resolution. It also offers a peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits and is protected by 2D glass layering. In the meantime, the OnePlus Watch 2R is available in Forest Green and Gunmetal Grey colour options. You get silicone straps with this watch by default, however, you can swap it out for another 22mm with other material options.
Talking of the features, the OnePlus Watch 2R comes with Bluetooth v5.0 and allows you to make and receive calls. You also get dual-band WiFi and NFC support on this watch. Similarly, the fitness tracking on this thing is no sleeper either — thanks to the seven different types of sensors it is equipped with. To add accuracy to all the tracking, this watch comes with a dual-frequency five-way navigation system. While it can do all the regular stuff like sleep, heart rate, and blood oxygen monitoring, it also offers over 100 sports modes, out of which it can auto-detect six modes. To keep all the things running, the OnePlus Watch 2R packs a 500mAh battery that can last you about four days on regular usage.

Design and Display
One of the major differentiating factors between the OnePlus Watch 2 and Watch 2R is their designs. While the former comes with a rather odd-looking protrusion on the right, the latter takes a more traditional and neutral approach. While the previous OnePlus smartwatch was an absolute unit weighing a total of 80 grams with its steel body. The OnePlus 2R is much lighter at 59 grams courtesy of its aluminium alloy build. Performance and Features
OnePlus surprised the world with its decision to feature dual-processors on the Watch 2. And they are continuing the trend. Meaning, the OnePlus Watch 2R also comes with both the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 and the BES2700BP processors under its hood. It is also equipped with two operating systems — Wear OS 4 and RTOS. This unique setup allows the watch to be energy-efficient as well as feature-rich. The Chinese tech giant announced this watch on 16 July 2024 alongside the OnePlus Nord 4, OnePlus Pad 2, and OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro. It is priced at INR 17,999 with no discounts and will go on sale from 20 July 2024.
