Oppo has expanded its A6 lineup with the launch of the Oppo A6 4G and Oppo A6 5G. The two smartphones share most of their specifications, with the main difference being the processor. Design and Display
In terms of design, both Oppo A6 4G and 5G feature the same design. You get a square camera module and a flat frame in the middle. Oppo has equipped both models with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust- and water-resistance. As for color options, the Oppo A6 4G is available in Aurora Gold and Sapphire Blue, while the Oppo A6 5G is available in Sakura Pink and Sapphire Blue.
Display-wise, both siblings feature a 6.75-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel supports up to 900 nits of peak local brightness.
Camera
Both phones feature a 50MP main camera paired with a 2MP monochrome sensor. Video recording is limited to 1080p. The Oppo A6 5G supports up to 60fps, while the A6 4G is capped at 30fps. Likewise, both phones house an 8MP sensor on the hole-punch cutout.

Performance and Battery
Under the hood, the Oppo A6 4G is powered by the Snapdragon 685 4G chipset, while the Oppo A6 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G SoC. Memory options differ slightly between the two: the 4G model offers 4GB to 8GB of RAM, while the 5G variant supports up to 12GB. Both phones offer 128GB and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage options.
Moreover, the battery capacity is the same for both models, as each features a 7,000 mAh battery. Both support 45W wired fast charging and feature reverse wired charging.
In terms of connectivity, both models support Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. However, the Oppo A6 5G supports 5G connectivity, while the A6 4G is limited to LTE.
