OPPO K13 5G is now official with a massive 7,000 mAh battery

OPPO has launched its new phone under its "K" lineup — the OPPO K13 5G — in India. This is a mid-range device that brings a blend of good performance with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, a fast 120Hz AMOLED panel and a massive 7,000 mAh battery. Design and build

The OPPO K13 5G features a clean, modern design with a slim 8.45 mm profile and a weight of just 208 grams. That's quite impressive considering the massive 7,000 mAh battery inside. It’s available in two finishes: Icy Purple and Prism Black, both featuring a glossy back with a minimalist dual-camera layout. And they're also IP65 rated against dust and water splashes.

On the front, the K13 features a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,200 nits peak brightness. With a 92.2% screen-to-body ratio, a centered punch-hole cutout, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and support for "Splash Touch" technology that lets you interact with the screen even when it's wet, the OPPO K13's display looks quite impressive for a budget phone.

Performance

On the software side, the OPPO K13 5G runs Android 15 with ColorOS 15 on top. And OPPO also promises 2 years of Android updates and 3 years of security patches for this phone.

Cameras

The OPPO K13 5G features a dual rear camera setup, led by a 50MP Omnivision primary sensor with an f/1.85 aperture and autofocus support. It’s accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots. Also read:

You're also getting a couple of AI-based features, such as AI Clarity Enhancer, AI Reflection Remover, AI Unblur, and AI Eraser, aimed at improving image output in various scenarios. On the front, the phone houses a 16MP Sony IMX480 sensor inside a centered punch-hole cutout.

Battery and charging

One of the standout features of the OPPO K13 5G is definitely its 7,000 mAh graphite battery, which is the largest among the phone under this segment. Despite the high capacity, the phone maintains a relatively slim and manageable profile.

OPPO claims the battery can deliver up to 49.4 hours of phone calls and around 10.3 hours of gaming on a single charge, depending on usage. The company is also promising a 5-year durability for the battery, with the phone still maintaining 80% of its original capacity by the end.

The device supports 80W fast charging, and the bundled 80W adapter is said to charge the phone from 0 to 62% in 30 minutes. Or up to 100% in 56 minutes.

OPPO K13 5G Price in Nepal and Availability

In India, the OPPO K13 5G will be available from April 25, where it will cost INR 17,999 for the 8/128GB and INR 19,999 for the 8/256GB variant. While there's no official word yet on Nepal launch, we expect the price of the OPPO K13 5G to start at NPR 33,199.
