OPPO also launched the Reno15 Pro in China alongside the regular Reno15, bringing a larger display and wireless charging support this time around. But to be honest, OPPO hasn’t really done anything noticeably fresh here; the upgrades over the Reno14 Pro are minimal at best. Anyway, let’s get into the details. In this article, I’ll walk you through everything about the OPPO Reno15 Pro, including its expected price in Nepal, specs, and availability.
OPPO Reno15 Pro Overview
Display and Design

So, compared to the vanilla Reno15's 6.32-inch display, the Reno15 Pro features a noticably large 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution (2772 × 1272 pixels), which reaches up to 3600 nits of peak brightness and supports a smart 1–120Hz refresh rate with 240Hz touch sampling rate. But surprisingly, this elder sibling actually gets low (2160Hz) high-frequency PWM dimming compared to the standard Reno15.
Like the Reno15, OPPO has also kept the bezels ultra-narrow at 1.15mm and added Crystal Shield Glass protection. The phone comes in Starlight, Honey Gold, and Canelé Brown colorways. The Starlight variant uses the same holographic lithography with a bow design that dances when you rotate the phone. It's made with high-gloss ice-clear glass that's transparent and fingerprint-resistant. The phone also carries IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. OPPO has used the same build quality upgrades with cold-carved glass and starlight mirror structure, along with a refined textured metal frame.
Performance and Software
The Reno15 Pro not just uses the same MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor as the standard model, but actually uses the same chipset as its predecessor — Reno 14 Pro. It's built on a 4nm architecture with an octa-core CPU reaching up to 3.25GHz and pairs with a Mali-G720 MC7 GPU. Similarly, it is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage. OPPO Reno 15 Pro also features the "Nano Ice Crystal Heat Dissipation system" to manage thermals during extensive use. Moreover, the phone runs on Android 16 with ColorOS 16 out of the box, matching the standard Reno15.
Camera System

The Reno15 Pro shares the same camera setup as the standard model across all sensors. The main camera uses a 200MP sensor (1/1.56″) with f/1.8 aperture and OIS. The ultra-wide camera packs 50MP with a 116° field of view and f/2.0 aperture, which is slightly wider than the standard Reno15's 112° FOV. The 50MP periscope telephoto camera offers 3.5X optical zoom with OIS and an f/2.8 aperture. All rear cameras can shoot 4K video at 60fps. The front camera features 50MP with f/2.0 aperture and supports 4K 60fps video recording, which is also identical to the standard model.

Battery and Charging
The Reno15 Pro comes with a larger 6500mAh battery, while the standard Reno15 has a 6200mAh cell. This difference is expected since the Pro model is physically bigger. You still get 80W SuperVOOC wired fast charging, but the real upgrade here is the addition of 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging, something the regular Reno15 doesn’t offer.
Additional Features
You'll get an optical in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, USB Type-C audio support, and an infrared sensor. These features match the standard Reno15. For connectivity, the Reno15 Pro supports 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.4.
