Zeblaze BTALK 3 Plus launched, but is it a “Plus” though?

Zeblaze BTALK 3 Plus is now available in Nepal, and the name might make you think it is a “plus size” version of the regular BTALK 3. But no, it is about the same size and is actually lighter. So what gives? Let’s discuss further in this article.

Zeblaze BTALK 3 Plus Overview

Design and Display

Right from the get-go, the Zeblaze BTALK 3 Plus looks totally different from its regular counterpart. It seems that it has taken design cues from the Google Pixel Watch and appears pretty premium. However, it comes in a plastic casing with no IP or ATM rating. Meanwhile, the base Zeblaze BTALK 3 has a metal unibody and IP68 rating.

Zeblaze BTALK 3 Plus Design

Moving on to the display, it is pretty much the same as the regular variant. Given that, the Zeblaze BTALK 3 Plus comes with a 1.39-inch IPS panel. In terms of resolution, it stretches across 360 pixels on all sides. This watch does have 2.5D curved glass over its screen to set it apart from its standard variant. Likewise, the Champagne Gold and Orchid colours that this watch comes in are quite unique and flavourful. Then there is the Jet Black option to please a wider mass.

Features and Battery

Feature-wise, the Zeblaze BTALK 3 and 3 Plus are essentially the same. It comes with a handful of sensors for fitness and activity tracking. The watch can track your heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep, and menstrual cycle. Similarly, it detects the users’ breathing rate and alerts them of any abnormalities in their heart rate too. For fitness freaks, the watch offers over 100 fitness modes and provides a detailed insight into their exercise or activity session. Other than that, you can connect the Zeblaze BTALK 3 Plus to a smartphone via Bluetooth v5.2 and make or receive calls, access voice assistants, and get app notifications.

Zeblaze BTALK 3 Plus Sports Modes

In the tank, it packs a 260mAh battery which is over 10% larger in capacity than its base model. With this, the watch can last up to 14 days on regular use. The number halves when you increase the usage intensity. When out of charge, it fully refills in just 1.5 hours. A magnetic charger is bundled with the Zeblaze BTALK 3 Plus in the box.

Instagram’s “Song on Profile” feature: A MySpace throwback

0

Instagram is introducing a new feature that lets users add a song to their profile. It’s similar to Myspace’s classic feature, where users can customize their profiles with their favourite music tracks. In this article, we’ll dive deep into how it works and what you need to know.

Instagram’s music feature overview

A nostalgic nod to Myspace

Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat are some of the extremely popular social media platforms these days, but have you heard about Myspace? Probably if you are a millennial. Well, it is a social networking website that was on hype almost two decades ago.

myspace login page

People used to connect online, post pictures, share music and stuff. While this app is almost no longer in use, Instagram has announced a ‘song on profile’ feature that is very similar to Myspace. A nostalgic trip back to the early 2000s.

As you can see in the tweet above, users can add music to their profile that will show up in the bio area.

“Your chosen song will be displayed on your profile until you decide to change it. When the play button is tapped, only a 30-second clip of the song will play” Instagram said in a statement

You will always have the option to change the song by going to the edit profile section where you will be able to search for and select a track from Instagram’s library of licensed music. Now that Instagram’s new feature is here, you can slide into the DMs of people you like by fangirling over their music.

From Myspace to Instagram: Conclusion

While Instagram also has a “Note” feature that lets you add songs to your messages, they disappear after 24 hours. But on ‘song on profile’ you can keep them as long as you want – so those tunes are basically your personal soundtrack! This feature looks like a good blend of nostalgia and modernity echoing the early days of Myspace while integrating seamlessly into today’s social media landscape.

Realme Pad 3 on works, spotted on various certification sites

Realme launched Pad 2, a budget-friendly tablet in July last year. Now the company is working on its successor and various sources have spotted it in different certification platforms. We will go through all the details and rumours of the Realme Pad 3 in this article.

Realme Pad 3 Rumours Round-up

Certifications

Gizmochina spotted a new tablet from Realme in the IMEI database at the beginning of July. Now, 91mobiles have spotted the tablet in BIS and Camera FV 5 certification sites. While not many details apart from that of cameras have been uncovered, we can see it carrying the “RMP2402” model number in all the listings.

What to expect?

The Camera FV 5 listing reveals both the front and back of the Realme Pad 3 will have a single camera. The rear shooter will be an 8MP unit with up to 3,264 x 2,448 pixels, 2.8mm focal length, and ƒ/2.0 aperture. Similarly, there will be a 5MP on the front with up to 2,592 x 1,944 resolution, 2.2mm focal length, and ƒ/2.2 aperture. Meanwhile, the IMEI certification suggests it could be launched in WiFi-only as well as a cellular variant.

Realme Pad 2 Screen
Realme Pad 2

No other details on the tablet are available as of now. However, we can expect the Realme Pad 3 to carry the same screen as its predecessor. That being said, it might have an 11.5-inch LCD with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. In contrast, this tablet might see an incremental upgrade on the processor. Given that the Realme Pad 2 packed the MediaTek Helio G99, the Helio G100 seems like an ideal candidate for this year’s tablet. But we will have to wait and see.

Realme Pad 3 Launch and Availability

There are neither any official words nor leaks on the potential launch date of the Realme Pad 3. In fact, Realme itself hasn’t actually mentioned anything about the tablet so far. But all the certifications the tablet is gathering suggest a sooner launch than later. Likewise, the BIS listing implies that the Realme Pad 3 will definitely launch in India.

Redmi 14C details and images leaked before its imminent launch

[This phone has launched officially]

The Redmi 14C is one of the devices Xiaomi is planning to launch for the coming year. However, it was accidentally listed a tad bit early on a Vietnamese retailer’s website, leading to a leak of some details and images. In this article, we will be looking into all the information available on the Redmi 14C so far.

Redmi 14C Rumours Round-up

Design and Display

Talking of the design, the Redmi 14C looks like the Oppo F27 5G with the large circular camera island aligned to the centre and four cutouts. That being said, this phone looks distinctly different from its predecessor i.e. Redmi 13C. This leak came with the product images, hence, we got a chance to have a good look at the phone.

The Redmi 14C will be available in three different colors. The green comes with a leather finish and the black one looks pretty standard. Meanwhile, the blue one pops with a gradient finish and pattern. It reminds me of that one scene from Moonknight (the MCU series). On the front, it will have a massive 6.88-inch LCD panel, which is actually bigger than the Galaxy S24 Ultra‘s 6.8-inch display. Although it will only have an HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.

Performance and the rest

Under the hood, the Redmi 14C will have the MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra chipset. We saw this processor on other Xiaomi offerings like the Redmi 13 and Poco M6 4G. Similar to the case of MediaTek Helio G99 and G99 Ultra, the “Ultra” namesake appears to be just a marketing gimmick with no actual change in the processor. Other than that, the phone will be available in two configurations: 4GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB.

MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra

In the tank, it packs a 5,160mAh battery with a modest 18W fast charging. Talking of the cameras, the Redmi 14C has four cutouts. However, one is just a decor while the LED flash sits under the next one. Given that, we are left with just two camera units, out of which the primary is a 50MP shooter. Furthermore, there is an auxiliary lens, the detail of which remains under wraps. It is likely a low-resolution depth sensor.

Redmi 14C Specifications (Rumoured)

  • Design: Flat edges with a large centre-aligned circular camera island on the back
  • Display: 6.88-inch LCD, HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate
  • Chipset: MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra
  • RAM: 4GB or 8GB
  • ROM: 128GB
  • Rear Camera: Dual Camera (50MP Primary + depth sensor)
  • Battery: 5,160 mAh with 18W TurboPower charging
  • Colour Options: Green, Black, Blue

Redmi 14C Launch and Availability

The Redmi 14C will officially launch on 31 August 2024, which isn’t far away. No information about the price is available as of now. But we can expect it to be around the same pricing as its predecessor.

Moto G55 5G renders LEAKED along with some key info!

[This phone has launched officially]

Motorola has been working restlessly in recent times. They launched a handful of smartphones and the Motorola Edge 50 Neo is still in the pipeline. Now, various sources have dug some information about another one of their offerings. Here, we will discuss all the rumours and info about the upcoming Moto G55 5G!

Moto G55 5G Rumours Round-up

Leaks

91mobiles got their hands on some renders and promotional material through one of their sources. This leak also reveals some key specs and features of the Moto G55 5G.

What’s coming?

Design

The Moto G55 5G is in line with a lot of Motorola’s recent offerings. It appears the company is going for a uniform look for its phones. As such, it comes with a seamless camera island that blends into the back panel. However, the camera bump appears to be a bit chunkier in here.

Moto G55 5G Design Leak

A render for the black colour option of the phone was leaked, and it does not appear to have a leather finish like other Moto offerings this year. 91mobile also said that the Moto G55 5G would be available in Green and Purple shades. Other than that, the promo material reveals that the phone will be IP54 rated and will don Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection upfront. No info on the display is available as of now, but we can expect it to be an LCD panel.

Performance

In the same leak, we got to know that the Moto G55 5G would be rocking a MediaTek Dimensity chipset. But which one? The detail on that has been left out. We can do some guesswork and try to figure it out. The Moto G45 5G that launched a few days ago had the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3. Given this phone is lower on the hierarchy than the upcoming Moto G55 5G, it should have a better chipset.

Moto G55 5G Chipset Leak

That being said, the MediaTek Dimensity 7200, or even 7300 seems to be an ideal candidate. The MediaTek Dimensity 7025 also offers just enough upgrades to be in the conversation. On a side note, this chip was introduced with the Moto G64 earlier this year. Furthermore, you will get up to 8GB RAM on the Moto G55 5G with the RAM Boost option. Likewise, this phone will be available with up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.

Camera and the rest

In terms of optics, the Moto G55 5G will have two lenses on the back. The main one will be a 50MP unit with OIS while the auxiliary lens will be an 8MP ultrawide shooter that can double down as a macro lens. Similarly, it will have a 16MP selfie camera on the front.

This phone packs a 5,000 mAh cell for power and supports 30W TurboPower charging to juice it up. You can enjoy Dolby Atmos audio with a stereo speaker setup on the Moto G55 5G.

Moto G55 5G Specifications (Rumoured)

  • Design: Standard Motorola design with seamless camera bump, IP54-rated
  • Display: LCD*, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection
  • Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity (7200 or 7300 or 7025)*
  • RAM: Up to 8GB + RAM Boost (India exclusive: Up to 12GB)
  • ROM: Up to 256GB UFS 2.2
  • Rear Camera: Dual Camera (50MP Primary with OIS + 8MP Ultrawide/Macro)
  • Front Camera: 16MP Camera (Centre-aligned hole-punch cutout)
  • Battery: 5,000 mAh with 30W TurboPower charging
  • Colour Options: Black, Green, Purple

Moto G55 5G Launch and Availability

There are no words on when exactly the phone is launching. Looking back, when promotional materials of the Motorola Edge 50 leaked, the company announced the phone within a week or two. If we are to go by that, the Moto G55 5G’s imminent launch isn’t that far off.

Honor Magic 7 Series launching in November!?

Honor launched the Magic 6 series earlier this year and they were pretty solid offerings. Now buzz for Honor’s next-generation flagship offerings has started generating. In this article, we will be looking at all the talks going around about the Honor Magic 7 series.

Honor Magic 7 Series Rumours Round-up

What’s the talk?

Firstly, sources are expecting the Honor Magic 7 series to follow the steps of its predecessor and offer four choices: the base model, Magic 7 Pro, Magic 7 Ultimate, and Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design.

Honor Magic 6 Pro Design and Display

In the meantime, a Chinese tech news portal — CNMO, reported on the “leaks” of Honor Magic 7 Pro circulating on the internet. The report even shared a mock render of the phone.

Honor Magic 7 Pro

The supposed leak of the Honor Magic 7 Pro goes into great detail and lists out some of the key specs.

Honor Magic 7 Pro rumoured specs

Design and Display

Starting with the design, the render shows the phone to have four cutouts on the camera island. The fourth cutout appears to be the flash. Additionally, the leak suggests the phone will boast an IP68 as well as an IP69 rating. Meanwhile, it might don the next generation of Kunlun Glass for screen protection.

Talking of the screen, the Honor Magic 7 Pro is expected to have a dual-layer 8T LTPO OLED panel with curved edges all around. Furthermore, it is expected to measure 6.82 inches diagonally, stretch 2K in resolution and offer a 120Hz refresh rate.

Performance

Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 appears to be the processor of choice. Unsurprising. Additional performance hardware includes LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Other than that, we can expect it to have a C1+ signal enhancing and E1 efficiency chip as well.

The Honor Magic 7 Pro is also expected to pack a 5,800 mAh third-generation silicon carbon battery with support for 100W wired and 66W wireless charging. We saw this battery and the C1+ in the Honor Magic V3 which launched in July this year.

Cameras

Talking of cameras, the Honor Magic 6 Pro made waves with its 180-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. While the claims with the zoom camera are a bit uncertain. It seems certain that Honor is sidelining the 180MP shooter.

Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition Camera

Rumours suggest the company will either go with a 50MP Sony IMX882 or 200MP Samsung HP3 sensor. Regardless of whatever happens with the telephoto lens, it appears all the other shooters will be 50MP units, including the front-facing camera. Here the primary shooter is said to be OmniVision OV50H while the selfie shooter will be coupled with 3D depth sensors.

Honor Magic 7 Series Launch and Availability

The Honor Magic 6 series launched in mid-January this year. However, sources say that the upcoming flagship will be out of the oven a little earlier and will go public in November. Given that Qualcomm is planning to announce the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 in October, the Honor Magic 7 series launching in November doesn’t sound implausible.

Note: Everything we’ve heard so far hasn’t come from credible sources. So, there are chances that the information we mentioned above might go south.

Vivo Y18i — rebranding game going strong!

Vivo launched the Y03t in the Philippines just a few days ago, and we also talked about its possible launch in India. Launch it did but with a different name — Vivo Y18i. In this article, we will talk all about this phone along with its expected price in Nepal.

Vivo Y18i Overview

Design and Display

The Vivo Y18i is the same thing as the Y03t, which by extension is pretty much the same as the Y03. Given that, this phone comes with IP54 dust and water resistance and two colour choices. The Gem Green option has lined patterns on the back while the Space Black one is pretty standard and has nothing fancy going on.

Vivo Y18i Design

For display, it comes with an LCD panel measuring 6.56 inches. The Vivo Y18i display stretches HD+ in resolution and offers a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. Similarly, it is graded to cover 70% NTSC colour gamut and can go as bright as 528 nits.

Performance

Meanwhile, the performance side of things is handled by the UNISOC T612 processor. It is an octa-core processor with 12nm fabrication and a peak clock speed of 1.8GHz. The Vivo Y18i ships in a single 4GB + 64GB configuration, which is half the storage offering of the Vivo Y03t. This is one of the key differences between the two phones. The phone also allows you to virtually double the memory and expand the storage up to 1TB.

Camera and the rest

A 13MP primary camera and a 5MP selfie shooter handle the imaging side of things. There is also an auxiliary camera on the back, however, it is just a 0.08MP unit. Vivo has not mentioned what purpose this measly resolution lens serves on the Y18i serves. Hence, we assume it’s there just for the decor and nothing else.

Vivo Y03t Camera

A 5,000 mAh battery powers the phone, which supports 15W charging speed. Other than that, it comes with dual SIM, 4G cellular, dual-band WiFi 5, and Bluetooth v5.0 support. For wired connections, it comes with a USB 2.0 Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Vivo launches Y03t, it’s pretty much the same as the regular Y03

Vivo freshly launched the Y03t smartphone in select markets. However, the phone is pretty much the same as the regular Vivo Y03 that launched a few months back. Let’s take a look at the Vivo Y03t in further detail and also discuss what its price in Nepal might be.

    Vivo Y03t Overview

    Design and Display

Designwise, you cannot tell the Vivo Y03t and the regular Y03 apart. They look the same down to the minute details. It comes with the IP54 rating and the same two colour options. The first is the Gem Green with linear patterns and the other is Space Black with a monotone grainy finish.

    Vivo Y03t IP54

On the front, the Vivo Y03t has a 6.56-inch LCD panel. It offers HD+ resolution and you can toggle the refresh rate between 60Hz and 90Hz. The display can reach a peak brightness of 528 nits and covers 70% of the NTSC colour gamut.

    Performance

The key difference between the Vivo Y03t and Y03 lies under the hood. While the older phone shipped with the MediaTek Helio G85, this one comes with the UNISOC T612. It is a slightly weaker processor but has the same architecture.

    UNISOC T612

The Vivo Y03t is available in a single configuration of 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The regular Y03 came with a lower storage option as well. But, I don’t think anyone will have any complaints about it. The phone allows you to expand the memory and storage too. You can virtually double the RAM, while for storage you can slot in a MicroSD card with up to 1TB space.

    Camera and the rest

Talking of the cameras, while it has two shooters on the back, it is effectively a single-camera phone with the auxiliary lens being a 0.08MP piece. The primary camera on the Vivo Y03t is 13MP though. Likewise, the front camera is a 5MP unit.

    Vivo Y03t Camera

In the tank, it has a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W charging support. It is a 4G-only phone and works with WiFi 5 and Bluetooth v5.2 for added wireless connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack for wired connections.

    Vivo Y03t Specifications

    • Design: Flat edges with a plastic patterned or monotone back, IP54-rated
    • Dimensions: 163.63 mm x 75.58 mm x 8.39 mm
    • Weight: 185 grams

Vivo Y03t Price in Nepal and Availability

This smartphone was launched in the Philippines for PHP 4,399 and the product page hints at a potential launch in other regions, including India. However, that is yet to be seen. Talking of Nepal, Vivo Y03 is already available here, so this phone may or may not arrive here. If it does, we expect Vivo Y03t to price in Nepal to land around a similar range i.e. NPR 14,499.

DJI Air 3 with dual-camera setup and a 46-min flight time now in Nepal

      1

For all the drone enthusiasts, it’s time for you to shine with the recently launched DJI’s latest drone, DJI Air 3. Finally, after that global release, it is now available in Nepal. So, let’s get into other official details of the DJI Air 3 — including official specs, features, and official price and availability in Nepal.

      DJI Air 3 Overview:

Building on the success of its predecessors, the Air 3 comes with two 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensors. Also, it has an extended flight time of up to 46 minutes and C1 compliance with EU drone regulations.

Here, some of the interesting features of this under-the-budget DJI Air 3 are the dual cameras and the omnidirectional obstacle sensing. The drone has all the professional features while remaining lightweight.

Dual Camera System and HDR Videos

The DJI Air 3 equips dual cameras with 48 MP photos. The wide-angle camera features a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor with a 24mm format equivalent and an f/1.7 aperture. On the other hand, the medium telephoto camera boasts a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor with a 70mm format equivalent and an f2.8 aperture.

Notably, the medium telephoto camera offers 3x optical zoom for detailed close-up shots. A key advantage is that both cameras have the same size sensor with a 2.4μm pixel size for a consistent level of image quality throughout.

The DJI Air 3 camera supports dual native ISO for 4K/60fps HDR video, with a maximum recording speed of 4K/100fps without FOV cropping. Both cameras offer 10-bit D-Log M and 10-bit HLG color modes, providing more highlight and shadow details for flexible post-production. Additionally, it can shoot 2.7K vertical video for social media—a first for the Air Series.

      Extended Flight Time

Also, the Air 3 boasts an impressive 46-minute flight time on a regular battery, offering a significant advantage for longer drone sessions. This flight time is 48% more than its previous DJI-Air 2. Moreover, it falls just one minute short of the Mini 3 Pro Intelligent Flight Battery Plus model.

The new battery charging hub supports power accumulation, which allows transferring of power between batteries for extended flight time in the absence of a power supply.

      Omnidirectional obstacle sensing

The DJI Air 3 sets a new standard in the Air Series with its inclusion of omnidirectional obstacle sensing. The Air 3 equips the fisheye lenses for forward, backward, left, right, and upward sensing, as well as binocular lenses and a 3D TOF at the bottom. With these, the drone can detect obstacles in all directions for safer flights. To further enhance the flying experience, the Air 3 utilizes APAS 5.0 (Advanced Pilot Assistance System) to actively avoid and bypass obstacles.

With the added convenience of the ActiveTrack function and Advanced RTH (Return to Home), the DJI Air 3 offers fully automatic flight capabilities and worry-free returns.

      Video Transmission Range

With DJI O4 technology, the Air 3 offers an impressive video transmission range of 20 km. The Air 3 enhances transmission stability to ensure a safer flight with no stuttered live view. It also supports up to 1080p/60fps live feeds, providing a smoother viewing experience.
