Camera Sensor

DJI’s Mavic 3 Pro Price in Nepal 2025 [Updated]

DJI recently released the “Pro” version of their Mavic 3 drone, and it’s officially available in Nepal. This is definitely a “Pro” that you’ll want to get your hands on, as it comes equipped with three optical cameras – a first for any DJI drone. There’s plenty more to talk about it, so let’s get into the specifics of the DJI Mavic 3 Pro in detail, along with its official price in Nepal.

DJI Mavic 3 Pro Overview:

Triple Cameras

As mentioned earlier, the Mavic 3 Pro is the first DJI drone to feature three cameras. The main camera remains the same as the Mavic 3, with a 20MP 24mm 4/3-inch CMOS sensor with Hasselblad tuning.

It allows you to capture 12-bit RAW photos with a native dynamic range of up to 12.8 stops, and record video at up to 5.1K at 50fps or DCI 4K at 120fps. The Mavic 3 Pro also features a new 10-bit D-Log M color mode.

With this, you can record videos with up to one billion colors (10-bit) and natural color gradations even in high-contrast scenarios, like sunrises and sunsets. As a result, DJI says the D-Log M mode reduces the difficulty of color grading for editors.

Additionally, the telephoto camera with a 1/2″ sensor and a 15° field of view (FoV) remains unchanged too. But DJI has made some modifications here. The focal length has been slightly increased from 162mm to 166mm, and the aperture has been widened from f/4.4 to f/3.4. The telephoto camera can now also record 4K@60fps videos.

Moreover, the Mavic 3 Pro now boasts a new “medium-tele” camera with a 70mm lens. It’s a 1/3-inch CMOS sensor with 3x optical zoom that allows you to shoot 48/12MP photos, 4K/60fps video, and the new D-log M.

Mavic 3 Pro “Cine”

Meanwhile, for those who want even more advanced video capabilities, such as shooting RAW videos, you can opt for the Mavic 3 Pro Cine. This variant enables you to record in Apple ProRes (422 HQ, 422, and 422 LT) encoding from all three cameras. And it also has 1TB of internal storage to handle that footage.

Interestingly, it’s a few grams heavier than the standard Pro, weighing in at 963 grams compared to 958 grams. But for the most part, the Cine variant shares the same features as the Mavic 3 Pro.

Battery

Moving on, the drone offers a flight time of up to 43 minutes. Although it’s 3 minutes less than the Mavic 3, this reduction in flight time is worth it given all the upgrades that come with the Pro variant. But if you are using DJI’s APAS 5.0 obstacle avoidance technology while shooting videos, the flight time may be even shorter.

Others

Apart from this, the Mavic 3 Pro has many of the same features as the Mavic 3. It still utilizes DJI’s “OccuSync” O3+ technology for 1080p/60 live feed transmission to the DJI RC controller. And DJI’s video editing app, LightCut, provides robust shooting and editing capabilities.

You can preview footage without exporting it, and the AI-based One-Tap Edit feature enables intuitive editing. Additionally, the Mavic 3 Pro comes with DJI’s full suite of “intelligent” modes, including FocusTrack, MasterShots, QuickShots, and Panorama.

DJI has recently been aggressively expanding its product portfolio. Following the release of a new FPV drone and action camera, DJI launched its latest smartphone gimbal called the DJI Osmo Mobile (OM) 6 a couple of months ago. The OM 6 has improved subject tracking and is compatible with larger smartphones. It is now available in Nepal as well. So let’s walk through the official specs, features, availability, and price in Nepal of the new DJI Osmo Mobile 6.

Design

The DJI Osmo Mobile 6 makes some minor improvements to its predecessor, the DJI OM 5. DJI has changed the name of this year’s gimbal back to “Osmo Mobile” rather than the previously used “OM”.

It maintains the same tried and tested foldable form factor as the OM 5 but with a more compact footprint and the ability to handle bigger phones. Like the DJI OM 5, the OM 6 includes a built-in extension rod for taking selfies and videos from a distance.

This time around, DJI has also added a side wheel that will enable users to control zoom or focus right from the gimbal itself. Also, the DJI Osmo Mobile 6 now has a built-in status panel that displays the selected operation mode of the gimbal and battery status. And an iPhone-only Quick Launch feature, a new side wheel, and a built-in status panel.

Quick Launch

The stabilizer also has an iPhone-exclusive feature called Quick Launch. After unfolding the gimbal and attaching it to an iPhone, it automatically opens the camera view on the DJI Mimo app. According to DJI, this feature reduces the preparation time taken to shoot a video by 3 times compared to older DJI OM gimbals.

The DJI Osmo Mobile 6 also has an upgraded version of its ActiveTrack technology. As a result, it now offers more stable long-distance tracking and allows front-camera tracking of subjects that turn to the side or spin.

According to DJI, this enhanced tracking method makes shoots “more story-like” by making the subject the center of attention. By tapping the M button on the DJI Osmo Mobile 6, users can change between four modes, Follow, Tilt Lock, FPV, and SpinShot.

Rest of the features

Other features present on the Osmo Mobile 6 include one-tap editing, gesture control, timelapse, and panorama among others. More so, the DJI Mimo app is capable of recommending shots based on the scenarios thanks to its ShotGuide feature.

Intel Ultra (Arrow Lake Processors) Price in Nepal

Intel’s newest desktop processors codenamed Arrow Lake are now official with built-in GPU, NPU, and connectivity for the first time in a desktop-class CPU. Carrying the moniker of the ‘Core Ultra 200S’ series, these chips bring slightly improved single and multi-core performance, with drastically less power draw. In this article, let’s talk in short about the latest Intel Arrow Lake Core Ultra 200S processors, their improvements, and features, and the expected price in Nepal alongside availability.

Power Improvements

The Arrow Lake processors have new Lion Cover P cores, and Skymont E cores replacing the Redwood and Crestmont cores we saw in Meteor Lake. We see a five-tile chiplet design with the compute tile fabbed on the N3B node, the graphics tile on the N5P, and the others on a larger N6 node. This ensures better efficiency while keeping costs down and also has the added benefit of granular control which comes in handy during things like overclocking. There are other changes in the architectural design as well like how the E cores are now in between P cores and not in their own separate block, or how the L3 cache is now shared between the two. It’s all stacked using ‘Industry Leading’ Foveros 3D packing tech.

The maximum TDP ratings for the Ultra 9 and 7 are still high at 250W but Intel says that there’s up to 40% less consumption in normal computing loads. The Ultra 5 can go up to 159W, roughly 14% less than the i5 14600K, and the maximum CPU temps limit is at 105ºC for all of Arrow Lake. The best part of all this is despite the lower power draw, the single and multicore performance saw a tiny improvement (<10%) over the last gen as well as the competition.

iGPU and Extras

The integrated graphics consist of the older 4 Xe cores that we saw in Meteor Lake and not the improved Xe-2 cores of Lunar Lake. Regardless, Intel promised twice the iGPU performance over its last-gen offerings. That being said the gaming performance of the new Arrow Lake chips doesn’t seem very compelling, especially since it looks like the flagship Ultra 9 285K might lose to its own last-gen 14900K sibling.

Moving on, there’s also a dedicated NPU pushing up to 13 TOPS on its own but that is unlikely to make a huge difference since most PCs have discrete GPUs which are just more capable in terms of raw numbers.

Compatibility

The Arrow Lake chipsets are compatible with the LGA 1851 socket so you’d have to get new motherboards to use one in your current system. They also drop support for older DDR4 memory, so you have to go with either DDR5 or CUDIMM DDR5 with abilities to overclock boost speeds. The new 800 series chipset baked in has support for Thunderbolt 4, PCI 4.0, WiFi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3 while dedicated chips in upcoming motherboards will enhance support for Thunderbolt 5, WiFi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4.

Initial Options

The Arrow Lake-S lineup includes various configurations ranging from 14-core to 24-core models. The processors have a TDP between 125W and 250W, with base clock speeds starting at 3.2 GHz and going up to 5.7 GHz.

Specifically speaking, Intel is launching these five SKUs initially with other models launching after. The gateway Core Ultra 5 245K/KF, then the middle of the pack Core Ultra 7 265K/KF, and finally the top-of-line Core Ultra 9 285K for PC enthusiasts. The KF models are the exact same processors as their K counterparts except without an integrated GPU to save costs. It’s expected that more options like the Core Ultra 9 285, Core Ultra 7 265T, and Core Ultra 5 225F will also be available later on. But we expect additional offerings only after the announcement of their mobile counterparts, likely in Q1 of 2025.
