48MP Camera Sensor

The Mini 4 Pro drone sports a 48MP camera with an f/1.7 aperture and 24mm equivalent focal length. AMD clarified the shift from the RX 7000 to RX 9000 series, stating that the RX 8000 series will be used for RDNA 3.5-based mobile GPUs. The RX 9000 series is specifically for RDNA 4 desktop GPUs.

FSR 4 Integration

The RX 9070 introduces FSR 4, AMD’s machine learning-based upscaling and frame-generation technology. FSR 4 is exclusive to RDNA 4 GPUs and will be supported in games already using FSR 3.1. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be among the first titles to support this feature.

Performance and Competition

The RX 9070 offers performance comparable to Nvidia’s RTX 4070 Ti and RTX 4070 Super. Talking about specific numbers, there are a total of 53.9 billion transistors with 3584 stream processors and 56 compute units. The RX 9070 can hit a peak clock of 2.5 GHz with a base frequency of 1.3 GHz. It’s got a plentiful 16GB of VRAM with a 256-bit bus providing a maximum theoretical bandwidth of 640 GB/s. Compared to it’s XT sibling, the RX 9070 chugs in a lot less power at just 220W.
