      Poco has finally launched two devices under the beloved F Series: Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro. Both siblings come with powerful chipsets for quite a competitive price tag. Here in this article, we'll talk about the vanilla Poco F6 smartphone along with its features, specs, and expected price in Nepal.

      Design and Display

      The Poco F6 looks strikingly similar to the Redmi Turbo 3, without a doubt. As such, the phone comes with a flat frame design and a protruding camera lens on the back. In terms of ingress protection, it also secures an IP64 dust and water certification.

        Talking of the display, this smartphone houses a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2400nits. You get slim bezels and a hole-punch cutout for an immersive experience. Other than that, there's a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut support.

      Performance

      Under the hood, the device is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. This 4nm fabbed 5G silicon sits between the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 8 Gen 3 in terms of benchmarks and performance with the former being slightly powerful in the GPU aspect. You get one Cortex-X4 core at 3.0GHz, four Cortex-A720 cores at 2.0GHz, and three Cortex-A520 cores at 2.0GHz.

      Poco has paired the chip with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Meanwhile, booting the phone is Xiaomi's HyperOS built on top of Android 14. It will get 3 years of OS and 4 years of security patch updates as well.

      Getting to the optics, the phone sports a dual camera setup. It is headlined by a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor (OIS), and an 8MP ultrawide unit. The main camera is capable of capturing 4K 60fps video. Meanwhile, the front camera is a 20MP snapper.
