POCO F7 Ultra Rumors
POCO, apart from being a subsidiary of Xiaomi, is famously known for dominating the midrange gaming segment. Previously, they had limited their phones to Pro versions, but now the Chinese company is heading towards the Ultra segment, implying it will be a more premium smartphone.
Display and Design
Initially, the POCO F7 series was expected to include two models: the POCO F7 and the POCO F7 Pro. However, with the confirmation of the F7 Ultra, it’s unclear whether the F7 family will have three members or if POCO will drop the base F7 model, focusing on just the Pro and Ultra variants.
The POCO F7 Ultra is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K80 Pro. So, we will see a 6.67-inch 2K AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision. Likewise, we can also expect a glass sandwich built with a metal frame in between alongside IP68 and IP69 ratings.
Performance
According to earlier reports, the F7 Ultra was poised to feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip but, as it’s going to be a Redmi K80 Pro rebrand, it will very likely pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC instead. Memory-wise, it might be available with up to 12/16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage variants. Furthermore, it will boot on HyperOS 2 built on top of Android 15.

In terms of optics, the F7 Ultra will likely boast a triple-camera setup. A 50MP main camera with OIS, a 32MP ultrawide unit a 50MP 2.5X tele lens, and a 20MP selfie camera, most likely. Likewise, fueling the phone will be a 6000mAh battery with 120W of wired and 50W of wireless charging support.
