POCO X6 goes official with Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 and 64MP OIS camera

The Redmi Note 13 Pro was unveiled in China a few months ago. And the POCO X6 is also official with borrowed specs from the device, such as the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, 120Hz AMOLED panel, and more. In this article, let’s discuss the features, specifications, and expected price of the POCO X6 in Nepal.

POCO X6 Overview:

Design and Display

As I stated earlier, the Poxo X6 takes a lot of cues from the Redmi Note 13 Pro. So, on the design front, you get a similar look with a boxy frame factor and an identical camera module. On that front, you get a hole punch display with pretty minimal bezels. And on that topic, the display is pretty impressive for the price as well. You are getting a 6.67” 1.5K AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Moreover, interpolating from the specs of the Note 13 Pro, the X6 Pro boasts a 2160Hz touch sampling rate, 1800nits of peak brightness level, and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage. Even better is the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

Performance

The POCO X6 does not cut corners on the performance front either. It equips Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset based on TSMC's 4nm process technology. This SoC features 4 Cortex A78 cores at 2.4 GHz and 4 other Cortex A55 cores at 1.9 GHz alongside Adreno 710 graphics. POCO has paired the chip with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. While booting the phone is MIUI 14 skin built on top of Android 13. HyperOS update will arrive in the coming days.

Camera

Camera is the one department POCO has cut corners on. You still get a triple-camera setup. But the primary shooter here is a 64MP sensor with OIS as opposed to the 200MP one on the Note 13 Pro. The rest of the cameras are the same though, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro unit. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie cam housed in the hole-punch cutout.
