Design

For the design part, the boAt Airdopes 131 is a half-in-ear fit with a touch-controlled stem. It comes with an IPX4 rating for added durability. The case is squarish-shaped with three LEDs in front. These LEDs indicate the charge level of the case. Additionally, boAt manufactures this wearable in 7 different colors: Light Pink, Crimson Cream, Black, Active Black Matte Indi, Steel Blue, Viper Green, and Ivory White.

Audio and connectivity

For the Airdopes 131, 13-mm drivers lead the audio front together with the boAt’s signature sound. This can replicate frequencies from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Completely unrelated, it connects via Bluetooth 5.0 up to a normal distance of 10 m. And the Bluetooth profiles provided are HSP, HFP, A2DP, and AVRCP.  As for the charging connection, it charges using a USB-C port.

Battery & Charge

The battery of the boAt Airdopes 131 is rated to last 60 hours of playback. The buds alone will be with you for 3 hours until they need a charge, thanks to the 40 mAh battery on each bud. Additionally, the 650 mAh case provides 19 to 20 full charges for the earpieces. The buds themselves take 1.5 hours to charge, whereas the case can take anywhere from 1.5 to 2 hours to get to that full juice.
