Samsung Galaxy A15 5G

Samsung Galaxy A15 is a new midrange phone, that comes as a successor to last year’s Samsung Galaxy A14. The phone is available in two different connectivity options, but the 5G variant hit the Nepali shelves first.

Design and Display

The Samsung Galaxy A15 is an all-plastic phone with a rounded rectangle shape and a patterned finish. It comes in a similar design to the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G with a “key island” on the right. It is available in three colours: Blue Black, Blue, Light Blue, and Yellow.

For display, the phone features a 6.5” display with a waterdrop camera cutout. Moreover, the panel here is a Super AMOLED with FHD+ (1,080 x 2,340 pixels) resolution. You get a refresh rate of 90Hz on this phone along with a peak brightness of 800 nits and a Vision Booster feature.

Performance and Battery

Samsung has gone with MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset on the Samsung Galaxy A15 5G. It is an octa-core processor following a 6nm fabrication process with a peak clock speed of 2.2 GHz.

Furthermore, the SoC is coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. We can further expand the storage up to 1 TB via a MicroSD card. It runs on Android 14 with OneUI 6.0 on top of it.

Camera and the rest

The Samsung Galaxy A15 5G comes with four cameras altogether. On the back, we get a triple camera setup led by a 50MP primary sensor. You have a 5MP ultrawide shooter and a 2MP macro lens assisting the main camera. Meanwhile, on the front you get a 13MP camera doing the work.

As a power supply, the Samsung Galaxy 15 5G goes with a 5,000 mAh non-removable cell. The phone supports 25W fast charging via Type-C. You get a free 25W charging brick bundled with the phone in Nepal. In terms of connectivity, the phone supports dual-band WiFi, dual SIM 5G, Bluetooth v5.3, and a five-way navigation system. It also has a headphone jack along with NFC support.
