Samsung Galaxy F54 Overview:
Design and Display
Since Galaxy F54 is just a rebranded Galaxy M54, these phones share the same look and everything else. Matter of fact, most Samsung phones in 2023 look pretty similar. It’s got a plastic back and plastic frames, while the display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Since Galaxy F54 5G enjoys a massive battery, the phone is somewhat bulky—measuring 8.4mm thick and weighing 199 grams.
Up front, the phone has a big 6.7″ Super AMOLED Plus display. There are minimal bezels on all four sides, while the hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera is pretty small too. This FHD screen also enjoys a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. And Samsung has also included the “Vision Booster” feature for better visibility outdoors.
Performance
In terms of performance, Samsung Galaxy F54 brings Exynos 1380 5G chip inside. Manufactured under a 5nm process node, its octa-core CPU consists of 4x Cortex-A78 (@2.4 GHz) and 4x Cortex-A55 (@2.0 GHz) cores. Then there’s the Mali-G68 MP5 GPU for graphics. As for memory, the phone has 6/8GB RAM and either 128 or 256GB storage. The phone boots on Android 13-based One UI 5.1 out-of-the-box, while Samsung also promises 4 major OS and 5 years of security updates for Galaxy F54 5G.
Cameras
There’s a triple camera setup here, including a 108MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro camera. Whereas the aforementioned hole-punch cutout houses a 32MP selfie shooter. You can shoot up to 4K 30 fps videos from both the primary and the selfie camera. And Samsung has also brought features like “Object Eraser” and “Photo/GIF Remaster” to this phone.
Rest of the specs
Galaxy F54 gets its juice from a big 6000mAh battery. It supports 25W fast charging but you’re gonna have to buy a compatible power adapter separately since Samsung doesn’t provide one in the box itself. For security, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Whereas wireless connectivity options for Galaxy F54 include WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC.
