Realme 14 “Pro Lite” launched as a rebranded Realme 13 Pro!

Realme introduced the 14 Pro series in January with the release of Realme 14 Pro and Realme 14 Pro+. Now, we have a Pro Lite version. Yup, a “Pro Lite” version! A model that is better than the base but lies below the Pro model? Well, that’s what it looks like so in this piece, let’s walk through its specs and features, alongside expected price in Nepal and availability.

Realme 14 Pro Lite Overview

Design and Display

Realme has used a very similar design pattern for its number series for a while now. The new Realme 14 Pro Lite is no different, and it won’t be completely wrong if we say the form factor is copied from the Realme 13 Pro 5G. The device features a sleek, shimmering finish with a glittery pattern and a circular camera island on the back.

The front sports a 6.7-inch FullHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2,000 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. For durability, the phone comes with an IP65 rating. You’ll also find an in-display fingerprint scanner for security. The Pro Lite is available in Glass Gold and Glass Purple colors.

Performance and Battery

Under the hood, the Realme 14 Pro Lite is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. This chip includes 4 Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.4GHz and 4 Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.95GHz. The phone comes with 8GB RAM (plus an extra 8GB of Dynamic RAM) and up to 256GB of storage.

It runs on Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14, which is a step down from the Pro and Pro+ versions, which have Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0. Guess we will have to sacrifice somewhere! As for battery life, the Pro Lite packs a 5,200 mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

Camera and Extras

The Realme 14 Pro Lite features a 50MP primary camera with a Sony LYT-600 OSI sensor, along with an 8MP ultrawide lens (112-degree FOV). On the front, there’s a 32MP selfie camera. The phone also includes dual speakers with Hi-Res Audio for an improved sound experience.

Honestly, with specs like that, I was hoping this to be the ‘Realme 14’ but guess Realme has come up with a new lineup in between its base and Pro variants. While the specs are all good, I was hoping we’d be getting some innovation like a new camera or chipset instead of a full-on rebrand.
