A few days after the announcement, Redmi has finally launched the Intel-poweredRedmiBook 16. It's a followup to the Ryzen-powered RedmiBook 16, that was launched earlier this year. So, let’s take a look at the specs, features, expected price, and availability of Intel-powered RedmiBook 16 in Nepal.
RedmiBook 16 Overview
Intel Core
The new RedmiBook 16 features the latest Intel 10th Gen Ice Lake processor. Processor-wise, users can choose between Core i5 – 1035G1 and Core i7 – 1065G7. Both processors are based on Intel’s 10nm manufacturing process. They come with have four cores and eight threads. However, the Core i7 can attain a boosted clock speed of up to 3.9 GHz (single-core), compared to 3.7 GHz on its i5 counterpart. It also has a bigger cache (8MB > 6MB). Similarly, the integrated Iris Plus G7 graphics on the i7 performs better than the G1 on the i5. However, the iGPU may not be that big of a problem as both the i7 and i5 variant feature an integrated GPU; we are talking about NVIDIA’s MX350 with 2GB of VRAM.
Unlike the Ryzen variant, this one comes with a dual heat pipe (6mm), which the company claims results in a 70% faster heat dissipation. Similarly, users can choose between three different performance modes – Quite, Balanced and Full Speed. One can switch between the three modes by pressing the K key simultaneously with the Function key.
Display
The RedmiBook 16 features a 16-inch display with an FHD+ resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Redmi claims that the panel covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut. The bezels around the screen are slim and help contribute to the 90% of screen to body ratio. It supports viewing angle of up to 178-degree.

RedmiBook 16 features a 46 Watt-hour battery. Redmi will include a 65W mini-power adapter that can charge the device from 0 to 50% inside 30 minutes.
