Design

The Galaxy A34 brings a slightly different design from its predecessor. Although Samsung is keeping the waterdrop-style notch of the Galaxy A33, the back panel is refreshed to include three separate cutouts for cameras. The design is more in line with the new Galaxy S23 series. For protection against dust and water splashes, the phone comes with an IP67 rating.

On the front, the smartphone flaunts a 6.6-inch AMOLED with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also infuses an optical under-display fingerprint reader for biometrics. Performance

Performance-wise, the smartphone gets its horsepower from a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC. Based on a 6nm node, this 5G-ready chip has two Cortex-A78 cores at 2.6 GHz for performance and six Cortex-A55 units at 2 GHz for efficiency. Memory options include up to 256GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM. Similarly, the phone boots to Android 13-based One UI 5.1 out of the box.
