Samsung’s super slim “Galaxy S25 Edge” goes official with flagship features

Samsung has finally launched its ambitiously slim phone — the Galaxy S25 Edge. This slim and lean smartphone arrives with the Snapdragon 8 Elite and a dual camera setup. Without further ado, let’s head straight into the specs, features, and expected price of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge in Nepal.

Design

In terms of looks and feel, the S25 Edge offers a slimmer, more compact form factor than the regular Galaxy S25. Samsung has integrated its Advanced Lens on Plastic (ALoP) technology to reduce the thickness of the camera module, while the middle frame is just 5.8mm. And with a weight of 163 grams, the ergonomics get even better.

Up front, it features a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a hole-punch cutout for the front camera. And there are ultra-thin bezels around it. Additionally, it comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 and titanium frames to help reduce the weight.

In terms of cameras, the Galaxy S25 Edge boasts a dual camera setup. It is headlined with a 200MP main shooter with OIS. Just like the S25 Ultra! This is followed by a 12MP ultrawide and a 12MP selfie camera, which means there’s no telephoto lens for this guy. Samsung says the S25 Edge benefits from the same ProVisual Engine that was optimized for Galaxy S25 with pro-grade enhancements.

As for performance, this slim guy is powered by the “Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy” chip, like the rest of the Galaxy S25 series. It features a more compact vapour chamber cooling system, too.

As for memory, it comes with 12GB of RAM, along with storage options ranging from 256GB to 512 GB. The device runs on Android 15 with One UI 7.0, providing a smooth and customizable user experience.

Battery and Charging

Moving on, the smartphone gets its juice from a 3,900 mAh battery, with the support of 25W fast charging. Additionally, the device features 15W wireless charging and 4.5W reverse wireless charging for added convenience.

Connectivity and Extras

The Galaxy S25 Edge supports 5G for faster download and upload speeds, along with Wi-Fi 7. For security, it features an in-display fingerprint scanner. Additionally, the device also has “Pro Scaler” support, which is an advanced AI-driven image processing technology that enhances display scaling by 40%.
