Samsung has abruptly delayed the global rollout of the One UI 7 update just a few days after it was initially released. The update which started to roll out on April 7 for flagship devices like the Galaxy S24 series, Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6 now has now been suspended due to a critical bug.
— users who got the fresh One UI 7 update couldn't unlock their phones. While Samsung has yet to comment officially, online forums in Korea and other websites indicate that this is the cause of the abrupt halt.
The issue was initially believed to be limited to Galaxy S24 units running on the Exynos 2400. And the update has already been removed from Samsung's OTA servers. However, recent information points to Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered variants in regions like the US being affected as well.
