This 11-inch slate boasts a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 1600 x 2560 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. The build here is also quite impressive, thanks to an aluminum frame and an enhanced aluminum back, alongside an IP68 rating. Plus, the S Pen support makes it a powerful tool for creators and professionals alike.

As for the cameras, it sports a 13MP rear shooter capable of 4K video recording, and a 12MP ultra-wide front camera that’s great for video calls and content creation. The tablet also packs quad stereo speakers tuned for immersive sound, though it skips the headphone jack. 2. Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE

The Galaxy Tab S9 FE is the most modest offering in Samsung’s latest flagship tablet lineup. It is built around a massive 10.9-inch display with a WUXGA resolution. But unlike the regular Tab S9 series that features a 120Hz AMOLED panel, Samsung has gone with a 90Hz IPS panel here. There's still a stylus included in the box itself though, while it also supports Samsung's "Vision Booster" tech for better outdoor visibility.

      3. Samsung Galaxy Tab A9

After the Tab S9 FE, the budget Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 has found its way to Nepal as well. And this is for anyone who wants an affordable tablet but is okay with the barebone specs. Available in both WiFi-only and LTE configurations, the Galaxy Tab A9 is powered by a fairly capable Helio G99 chip from MediaTek. Whereas in terms of memory, only the 4/64GB variant is available in Nepal.

      3. Samsung Galaxy Tab A8

Next up, Tab A9's predecessor — the Galaxy Tab A8 — is still available in Nepal. It has a relatively under-powerful Unisoc T618 chip but a larger, sharper 10.5-inch display. Because of this and the larger 7,040mAh battery, the Tab A8 is a fair bit heavier too, weighing 508 grams. In terms of memory, it is available with 4GB RAM and either 64 or 128GB of internal storage in Nepal.

And you can also configure it with either WiFi-only or LTE connectivity. There is a 5MP selfie camera placed horizontally. At the back, you get an 8MP sensor on a circular island. There's also a quad-speaker setup here.

      4. Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite

Other than this, you can still find some stock of the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite available in Nepal. But seeing how you can get the much newer and much more capable Galaxy Tab A9 at similar prices, we'd highly suggest you go with that instead. Anyway, the Tab A7 Lite also has a metal construction and features a similar 8.7-inch TFT display with a 60Hz refresh rate.

And although Samsung has already updated it to One UI 5 (Android 13), the Helio P22T chip powering the tablet is pretty weak for 2023. Other than this, Samsung has given an 8MP rear and a 2MP selfie camera here. Just like on the Tab A9. Whereas it has a 5,100mAh battery with 15W charging and a dual speaker setup with Dolby Atmos audio too.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite Specifications:

      • Body: 124.7 x 212.5 x 8mm, 366 gm (WiFi / LTE)

      5. Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite

Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite design and display

This is the newest "budget" tablet you can buy now in Nepal - the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, priced at NPR 51,000 for the 6GB/128GB Wi-Fi variant. You're getting a 10.9-inch TFT display with 2112 × 1320 resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 600 nits peak brightness with Vision Booster technology. The device is powered by the Exynos 1380 (Quartz) processor. The tablet comes with either 6GB RAM + 128GB storage or 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, both with microSD support up to 2TB. Camera setup is pretty basic with an 8MP rear and 5MP front camera, adequate for video calls and document scanning.

Good thing about this device is the S Pen that comes in the box with features like Handwriting Assist and Math Solver in Samsung Notes, plus Circle to Search with Google. There's even a dedicated Galaxy AI key on the optional Book Cover Keyboard. The tablet runs Android 15 out of the box. . It comes in three colors: Gray, Silver, and Coral Red. At this price it's positioned as Samsung's budget tablet option, though whether it's actually "budget" at that price point is debatable considering you can get decent Android tablets for much less.
