Design and the unique feature
The Soundcore P41i earbuds come inside a curved box design that can also serve as a phone stand. Other than that, the buds look and feel like any standard pair of Soundcore buds, with the Soundcore logo prominently displayed on the buds if it wasn’t already obvious. The buds are also IPX5 splash-resistant.
Now, the unique feature is that the case doubles as a power bank. Hence, the total battery capacity of the charging case is a massive (for an earbud case) 3,000 mAh battery with 10W charging support. It is not ideal as a regular power bank, but it can be used as an emergency phone charger to keep your device alive. Soundcore even claims that devices like the iPhone 16 Pro, Galaxy S24, and Google Pixel 8 reached 30% at around 40 minutes, while the iPhone 14 Pro took around 30 minutes.
Audio Quality and Battery Life
The Soundcore P41i features 11-mm titanium-coated composite drivers, which are reportedly enhanced by BassUp technology to improve bass quality. The buds also feature adaptive ANC, which actively monitors the user’s surroundings and adapts to them. Alternatively, you can customize it to your liking through the Soundcore App. The buds use 3 mic on each pair of buds with a touch of AI noise reduction.
As you have already heard about the 3,000 mAh charging case, it will come as no surprise that the battery life is relatively high, and … it is. You get 10 hours of playtime per charge with ANC off, which increases to 12 hours without ANC. However, when using the charging case, it yields an enormous 160 hours with the ANC turned on and 192 hours without ANC. Although Soundcore advertises it as offering up to 1 month of total playtime, which makes sense when considered practically. They also claim a 5-hour playback with a short 10-minute charge.
