Tecno has officially announced the latest smartphone in its Pop series, the Tecno Pop 8 which is the successor to last year's Pop 7. This new Techno device features the 'Dynamic Port' which takes inspiration from the newer iPhones. Further, it also offers several improvements in display, camera, and more. Design and Display

The Pop 8 comes in a boxy design similar to the Pop 7 however the camera module looks a bit different. On the front, there's a selfie camera a punch-hole cutout design, along with a dual flash. The device is available in four color options: Mystery White, Alpenglow Gold, Magic Skin, and Gravity Black.

On the display side, it has a 6.6-inch LCD display sporting a 720p resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. Tecno has introduced the "Dynamic Port" which is useful for notifications, charging status, and call status.

Performance and Camera

Under the hood, the Tecno Pop 8 is powered by the Unisoc T606. This chipset is complemented by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Furthermore, it also supports the microSD card for further expansion. The device offers a dual camera setup of 13MP rear and an AI cam. Over on the front, we get an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls.
