To up the competition, Tecno plans to unveil the affordable Pop 9 series in the smartphone market very soon. The recent launch of the Tecno Spark 20 Pro+ made quite an impression in the budget-friendly phone market. So can we expect the pop series to bring something similar to the table next?

While Tecno hasn't officially announced the Pop 9 series yet, industry speculation and trends give us a good idea of what to expect. Based on its predecessor, the Pop 9 series will likely bring some key upgrades, such as better processing power, improved cameras, and a higher-quality display.

The company is planning to launch 2 models of this series this time - Pop 9 4G and Pop 9 5G. The possibility indicates that Tecno aims to appeal to a wide range of users. According to reports, Tecno’s Pop 9 4G smartphone will likely have specifications similar to those of the Pop 8.
However, in 5G, we can expect some better improvements in processor (MediaTek Dimensity 700) and display (AMOLED screen), maybe close enough to Spark 20 Pro+.

Tecno Pop 9 Pricing and Availability
Well, there is no official announcement about the launch of this phone, considering that Pop 8 was announced in October 2023, we can expect the Pop 9 series as well to be launched in October this year. Talking about the price, Pop 8 costs INR 7,000 so the new series can be scheduled in between 7500- 1000 in India.
