Vivo has officially launched the Vivo Pad 5 in China, following the recent release of the Pad 5 Pro. It was announced alongside the Vivo S30 smartphone series. This article will discuss everything about the latest Vivo Pad 5, including its expected price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.
Vivo Pad 5 Overview
Display and Design
The Vivo Pad 5 features a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a 2.8K resolution of 3096 × 2064 pixels. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate and offers up to 900 nits of brightness. Additionally, the device has a 16:10 aspect ratio. It comes in a slim all-metal body, measuring 6.62mm thick and weighing 590g. The tablet is available in three color variants: Blue, Grey, and Pink. Vivo has introduced optional accessories, including Smart Folio 5, Smart Touch Keyboard 5, and the Vivo Pencil 3.
Processor and Performance
This tablet runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset, built on a 4nm process. It includes the Immortalis-G720 GPU for graphics performance. The device supports up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Furthermore, it uses UFS 3.1 storage in the base model and UFS 4.0 in higher variants. It also includes a 34,200mm² 3D cooling system.

Software and Productivity
Vivo Pad 5 comes with OriginOS 5 based on Android 15. The interface is optimized for large-screen use. In addition, it includes tools like PC-grade WPS Office and a custom CAJViewer for reading academic content.
Camera Setup
The rear camera includes an 8MP sensor mainly for document scanning and casual use. On the front, a 5MP camera handles video calls and face recognition.
Battery and Charging
Vivo has packed a 10,000mAh battery into the Pad 5. It claims a standby time of up to 62 days. Additionally, it supports 44W fast charging over USB-C.
Audio Features
The device houses six built-in speakers. These are designed for audio during music playback, movies, and calls. Vivo Pad 5 includes support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. NFC functionality is also present.
