The Vivo 70 FE is official as an alternative mid-range option!

Following its debut in Indonesia last month, Vivo has also launched the V70 FE in India. And while it indeed has the right numbers in the right places, it lands at such a price that it will make you pause. To learn everything about the Vivo V70 FE’s features and expected price in Nepal, let’s dive in.
Vivo V70 FE Overview
Design and Display

Let’s start with the design, the new V70 FE has a very slim design for a phone that carries such a massive brick. It has reasonable heft, but the company has shipped the phone with plastic on both the front and back. Moving on, the phone handles everything from submersion to high-pressure water jets, as it is rated for IP68 and IP69 dual rating.
On the display side, it comes with a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED that delivers sharp, vibrant visuals, and you will experience scrolling very enjoyably. And with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1900 nits peak brightness, outdoor readability shouldn't be a problem even in direct sunlight. Other than that, watching Netflix or YouTube should also be no problem, as it comes with HDR10+ support.
Performance
The phone runs on Dimensity 7360 Turbo, which is a 4nm node that should handle all the normal tasks like social media and moderate gaming at ease. But since it's a mid-range chip, you cannot push it beyond what it can do, i.e., playing games at the highest possible setting. A lot of smartphones, in the mid-range section, in recent months have been shipping with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and following that, Vivo has also shipped memory up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM here. And for storage, there is a 256GB UFS 3.1 option.

On the software side, you get Android 16 with OriginOS 6 running on top, and Vivo is also promising four years of OS updates and six years of security patches.

Moving on, you get a 200MP Samsung HP9 main sensor with OIS that should capture detailed, well-stabilized shots that hold up even when you crop aggressively, and there’s also AI SuperZoom up to 30x. In good light, the results are strong with natural colors and solid dynamic range.
The 8MP ultrawide is the weakest thing about this camera system. Because anything less than ideal light will remind you immediately that it's a budget sensor attached to a premium-priced phone. There's no telephoto at all, and that omission matters more the longer you use it. The Indian variant gets 50MP on the front, while international markets get 32MP. But either way, you are getting a decent selfie camera that remains reliable throughout the day.
Battery and Charging
The phone comes with a large 7000 mAh silicon-carbon battery. Vivo claims the phone offers 43+ hours of YouTube playback. The battery then gets its juice from a 90W FlashCharge, which goes from flat to full in around 60 minutes, and oh, by the way, there’s also a bypass charger.
