Vivo has launched the Watch 6 alongside the X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max in China. As the successor to last year’s Watch 5, the new smartwatch retains the familiar circular design but brings a more premium titanium option, a significantly brighter display, updated health features, and new navigation tools. Let’s take a look at what the Vivo Watch 6 offers, including its specs and the expected price in Nepal.

Design and Display

The vivo Watch 6 retains the circular design of its predecessor and comes in a 45mm case. This time, vivo offers a choice between 316L stainless steel and TC4 aerospace-grade titanium. The titanium version features an integrated titanium frame and weighs around 37 grams, making it lighter than the stainless-steel variant, which weighs about 44 grams. It also uses high-gloss precision machining for a more refined finish.

Both versions feature sapphire-glass protection for the display and carry IP68 and 5ATM ratings for dust and water resistance. The stainless-steel model comes in Wilderness and Moonlight colorways, while the titanium version is available in Original Color.

Up front, the Watch 6 features a 1.47-inch AMOLED display with a 466 x 466-pixel resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. It also has ultra-thin 1.49mm bezels, resulting in an 85.8% screen-to-body ratio. The panel reaches a claimed local peak brightness of 3,500 nits, more than twice the 1,500 nits offered by the Watch 5, making it better suited for viewing outdoors.

Health and Fitness

The Watch 6 goes beyond basic heart-rate and blood-oxygen tracking with a high-precision health sensor module. It also supports a 60-second one-tap health check and pulse-wave arrhythmia analysis. Vivo says the arrhythmia analysis feature has received medical-device certification in China.

For workouts, the smartwatch supports more than 100 sports modes and features dual-band GNSS for positioning. It also adds offline maps, route navigation, and route-back guidance, alongside dedicated features for running and cycling. A built-in barometer further supports its outdoor-focused functionality.

Battery and Connectivity

The Watch 6 packs a 505mAh battery and offers up to 21 days of battery life with light Bluetooth usage. With typical Bluetooth use, the battery can last up to 10 days, while enabling the always-on display reduces the battery life to up to six days.

For connectivity, the Watch 6 comes in Bluetooth-only and eSIM versions. The stainless-steel model is available in both Bluetooth and eSIM variants, while the TC4 titanium model is available only with eSIM connectivity.

The watch also supports Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and dual-band GNSS.

Software and Other Features

The vivo Watch 6 runs on BlueOS 4.0 and adds several smart features beyond fitness tracking. It includes AI-assisted functions such as Smart Xiao V recommendations and Blue Heart Xiao V 2.0 for voice interaction.

The smartwatch also comes with a built-in speaker and microphone for calls and other on-wrist functions. Other features include NFC support, QR-code payments, voice recording, notes, and calendar functions. However, the availability of some of these features may vary by region, phone compatibility, and local services. The Watch 6 is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.

Vivo Watch 6 Price in Nepal and Availability

The vivo Watch 6 has launched in China in three variants. The stainless-steel Bluetooth version starts at CNY 999, while the stainless-steel eSIM variant costs CNY 1,399. The top-end titanium model with eSIM connectivity is priced at CNY 1,999.

Vivo has not announced the global availability of the Watch 6 yet. If the smartwatch eventually makes its way to Nepal, we expect the vivo Watch 6 price in Nepal to start at around NPR 22,899.
