Vivo has quietly listed the Y32 on its official Nepal website, suggesting that the phone could be coming soon to Nepal. It was first listed in Bangladesh and stands out with a massive 8,000mAh battery, a 120Hz display, and IP68/IP69 ratings.
Key Highlights
- The Vivo Y32 is coming soon to Nepal with a massive 8,000mAh battery and 44W FlashCharge.
- It features a 6.87-inch LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,300 nits brightness.
- The phone is powered by the Unisoc T7300 chipset and runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6.

Now, the name Vivo Y32 might sound familiar because the company launched a phone with the same name back in 2021, although it never made its way to Nepal. But don’t confuse the two—the new Y32 is not an upgraded version or successor to that older model. They are completely different phones, and honestly, we’re not sure why Vivo decided to reuse the name.
Anyway, let’s take a closer look at what the new Vivo Y32 has to offer, including its specifications, features, expected price, and availability in Nepal.
Vivo Y32 Overview
Design and Display
The Vivo Y32 is a fairly big phone, measuring 169.55 × 79.20mm, with the thickness varying slightly between the two color options. It weighs around 229–230 grams, so you’ll definitely notice its size and weight if you’re used to more compact phones.
As for the build, Vivo has gone with a composite plastic back, which is pretty expected at this price point and should also be easier to live with day to day than a glass back. The fingerprint sensor sits on the side of the phone, giving you a familiar and convenient way to unlock it while holding the device. It also gets IP68 and IP69 ratings for added protection against dust and water.

Moving to the front, the Vivo Y32 features a 6.87-inch LCD display with a 1592 × 720 HD+ resolution. The large screen should be useful for watching videos, browsing, and general content consumption, although the HD+ resolution is less sharp than the higher-resolution panels found on some competing phones.
The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate, which should make scrolling, animations, and supported games feel smoother than a standard 60Hz panel. It also reaches up to 1,300 nits in HBM brightness, which should help with visibility when using the phone outdoors. It also supports 83% NTSC color gamut, 255 PPI pixel density, LED backlighting, and a capacitive multi-touch panel.

Performance and Software
The Vivo Y32 is powered by the Unisoc T7300, an octa-core chip built on a 6nm process. It combines two cores clocked at up to 2.2GHz with six efficiency cores running at up to 2.0GHz, making it suited for everyday apps, multitasking, and casual gaming.

It comes with 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, while storage is available through UFS 2.2 or eMMC 5.1, depending on the configuration. The phone also supports up to 4GB of Extended RAM, while the storage can be expanded by up to 2TB with a compatible memory card.
On the software side, the Y32 runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6. Vivo also claims up to 50 months of smooth performance, while some of its AI features and gaming functions are available specifically on the 6GB RAM variant.

Camera
For photography, the Vivo Y32 has a 50MP main camera on the back, paired with a 2MP bokeh camera. The main sensor should handle most everyday shots, while the secondary lens is mainly there to help with portrait-style photos.

For selfies and video calls, there is an 8MP front camera. Vivo also includes AI Erase, which lets you remove unwanted objects or people from photos after taking them.
Battery and Connectivity
The biggest highlight of the Vivo Y32 is its massive 8,000mAh battery, which should easily get you through a full day and potentially much longer with lighter use. It also supports 44W FlashCharge, so the large battery doesn’t necessarily mean spending too much time plugged in. Vivo claims up to 36.6 hours of video playback, 57.7 hours of Spotify, and 59 hours of 4G calling.

Vivo also says the battery can retain around 80% of its original capacity after 1,500 full charge cycles, which is roughly six years of charging under its testing conditions.
For connectivity, the Y32 supports 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C. It also comes with dual-SIM support, while the Type-C port handles charging and data transfer.
