Xiaomi has refreshed its A27Qi model!

Xiaomi has refreshed its 27-inch monitor for 2026 with improved color accuracy and a faster refresh rate. This new model is the Xiaomi A27Qi 2026, which we will discuss in this article, including its price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.
Xiaomi A27Qi 2026 Overview
Display and Image Quality

The 2026 version focuses on three main upgrades: tighter factory-level color accuracy, a higher contrast ratio, and a faster 120Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi hasn’t moved to OLED or high-brightness panels in this model, but instead sticks with the regular IPS package that remains affordable.
The display uses a 27-inch IPS panel with a 2560 × 1440 (QHD) resolution. Xiaomi has pushed the panel to offer 100% sRGB and 95% DCI-P3 color coverage, and every unit is factory calibrated to ΔE <1. Its brightness is also rated at 300 nits and the contrast ratio at 1,300:1, which is quite modest for its price bracket. Viewing angles stay pretty typical at 178°.
Performance
As I mentioned, this refresh bumps the screen’s refresh rate up to 120Hz, compared with the previous generation’s 100Hz. The response time is 6 ms (GtG). Other than that, it includes eye comfort features like TÜV Rheinland-certified low blue light and DC dimming.

Xiaomi A27Qi 2026 Price in Nepal and Availability
The Xiaomi A27Qi 2026 has launched in Thailand at THB 4,990, slightly higher than the previous generation. There’s no official announcement yet for Nepal, but broader availability is likely in the coming months.

Should you buy the Xiaomi A27Qi 2026 in Nepal?
It hasn’t launched in Nepal yet, so all we can do is look at expected pricing. If it arrives close to the NPR 21,000 mark, the A27Qi 2026 makes sense to me if you want QHD resolution with good color coverage and a 120Hz refresh rate. For heavy gaming, HDR content, or professional creative work, you should just look at pricier monitors, particularly those of MSI and Samsung. But for everyday usage and streaming, I see it as one of the stronger budget-friendly QHD options when it arrives here.
