Design and Internals

The Xiaomi Air Fryer 6L comes in a slightly conical shape and black colour with a glossy finish. It has a panel on the front with touch control and multi-functional icons. The entire thing measures 300 mm x 379 mm x 280 mm in dimensions while weighing about 5 kilos. Underneath, it has non-slip rubber feet for greater stability when you place it on the kitchen counter. Moving on to the internals of the Xiaomi Air Fryer 6L, it has a stainless steel heating element of 1500W rated power. It is coupled with a nine-blade fan that helps circulate air and heat evenly across the basket. Meanwhile, the basket itself is made out of an unspecified alloy with a double-layer non-stick coating and has a rated capacity of 6 litres. This volume is sufficient to hold up to 15 chicken wings and an 8-inch pizza.

Additionally, the Xiaomi Air Fryer 6L comes with some interesting features. The first of which is its adjustable capacity design. Here, you get a multi-purpose drip tray that you can snap into the basket and convert the air fryer capacity to just 3 litres. Similarly, it also comes with a shake reminder feature along with a built-in microswitch. This switch pauses the cooking process when you pull out the basket and resumes cooking when you put the basket back in. Other than that, it comes with an NTC smart sensor that allows for accurate temperature control and more efficient cooking. With this, the Xiaomi Air Fryer 6L offers two different ranges of temperature options. At first, the low-temperature range of 40 to 80°C which is ideal for yoghurt fermentation and defrosting. On the other hand, higher temperature ranges from 80–200°C allowing for more familiar forms of cooking like frying, and baking.
