Xiaomi Nepal’s 0% EMI Scheme:

Xiaomi has partnered with Nabil Bank to bring the 0% EMI scheme. As a result, Nabil Bank customers can now purchase any Xiaomi, Redmi, or Poco smartphones on an installment basis with no extra charges. The scheme is also available for laptops and TVs from Xiaomi and Redmi.

Amit Kumar Panda, the country GM of Xiaomi Nepal said, “We’d like to start this year along our Mi fans who share a great enthusiasm on our products. For the first time, Xiaomi has launched the 0% EMI offer in Nepal with the aim of making the country more digitally connected.”

What are the Requirements?

Customers must have a Nabil Bank Credit Card in order to take advantage of the EMI on products. For smartphones, a 50% down payment waives the processing fee. While for laptops and TVs, one must bear the full processing charges.

Those who have a Nabil Bank Credit Card can go to authorized Mi stores and retail shops to know more about the EMI and the process to claim it. EMI schemes generally require official documents such as citizenship, PAN cards, salary certificates, bank statements, and so on. So you may be asked for these documents to avail EMI on Xiaomi products.

The brand has stated the EMI offer is valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. Hence, one must pay the installments within the given time frame. Moreover, new applicants of Nabil bank’s credit card are liable to get a waiver over the first year’s annual service fee under this scheme.
