Goertek is a Chinese electronics company that designs and manufactures components and devices for consumer electronics. Their portfolio includes audio products, VR headsets, and smart wearables. Likewise, its clientele includes popular brands like Sony, Meta, Samsung, and even Apple.

Rumours say both companies have been working on the smartglasses for a few months now.
