Design and Display

The Watch 2 Pro closely resembles the Watch S2 in terms of design. The build here is stainless steel with a rotating crown on the side. Available in two color options: Black and Silver, the former one comes with a black Fluororubber strap while the latter gets a brown leather strap. Like most modern watches, it is rated for 5ATM water resistance. On the display side, the smartwatch sports a 1.43-inch AMOLED panel, supporting a resolution of 466x466 pixels with a pixel density of 326ppi.

A return to the Wear OS

The key USP of the Watch 2 Pro is the Wear OS. Xiaomi has finally made a return to the mainstream smartwatch software. That means, the wearable gets access to Google Assistant, Google Play Store, Google Wallet, and other supported apps. Besides that, there is still MIUI skin on top, leaving some typical Xiaomi presence.

Performance and Health Tracking

Under the hood, the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro gets a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 processor. In terms of memory, it comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. In terms of health and workout features, it includes options such as 150 sports modes, ECG monitoring, heart rate tracking, body temperature monitoring, and sleep tracking. There is also a ‘Pebble Mode’ that even lets you attach the unit to a shoe buckle, for posture detection when running.
