Blackview has mostly been known for launching value-for-money tablets in Nepal, and the brand recently introduced its budget-friendly Wave 2C. Now, they are expanding their smartphone lineup with the next-generation Blackview Wave 7C. This phone is aimed at budget-conscious buyers who want a decently spec'd smartphone at an affordable price. Blackview Wave 7C Overview

Design and display

Starting with the design, it's obvious that the Blackview Wave 7C looks quite similar to the iPhone 17 Pro Max (review), except for a few changes. The phone features a glass front and a basic plastic build, which is expected at this price. It measures 8.9 mm and weighs around 202 gm and comes in Vitality Orange, Phantom Black, and Arctic Blue color options.

On the front, we get a large 6.56-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1612 × 720 pixels and a pixel density of 269 PPI. The device features a U-shaped notch that feels quite outdated, especially in 2026. That said, the display offers a 60Hz refresh rate and up to 430 nits of brightness, which is decent for the price. For durability, it comes with Mohs level 5 scratch resistance.

Performance and Memory

Under the hood, Wave 7C is powered by the Unisoc Tiger T310 chip. It's manufactured under a 12nm process, and it brings a quad-core CPU configuration with 3x Cortex-A55 (1.8 GHz) and 1x Cortex-A75 (1.2.0 GHz). And since this chip is specifically designed for casual use, you can expect a decent experience with things like social media scrolling or some light gaming.

Memory-wise, we get 3GB of RAM and 64/128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. Additionally, you also get a microSD card for storage expansion. And in terms of software, we get Android 16 out of the box with DokeOS 5.

Camera and battery

The Blackview Wave 7C does a decent job in the camera department. It features a 32MP rear camera paired with an LED flash, capable of capturing decent photos in good daylight conditions. On the front, it houses a 16MP selfie camera with HDR support for improved selfies in challenging lighting conditions.

Moving on to the battery, we get a 5000mAh battery that should last an entire day under casual usage. The device also supports 10W charging.
