The ring has touch-sensitive controls and is complemented by the iconic boAt logo inside. It is available in three sizes: 7, 9, and 11, with diameters of 17.4mm, 19.15mm, and 20.85mm, respectively. It comes in a single Graphite colorway.
The ring is water and sweat-resistant with a 5ATM rating, so it can be worn during workouts or in the shower. Being a small and discreet wearable, it doesn’t have enough space for a screen to instantly display health-related data. To view the info, the user has to connect to the boAt ring companion app. The app enables users to set goals, track progress, and share data with friends.

The boAt health tracker is small but packed with smartwatch-like features. For starters, the ring is equipped with a heart rate sensor, a temperature sensor, and a blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) sensor. In addition, there is also a six-axis motion sensor to measure any kind of motion. As such, it can track a range of workouts ranging from indoor exercises to running and more.
Moreover, the Smart Ring can track your sleep and menstrual cycles as well. Lastly, the Ring can use the data it collects for smart activity tracking and body recovery monitoring. The companion app then displays the data in the form of intuitive and interactive charts with features like Trend mapping and Progress Tracking.

The navigation takes place via swipes and gestures which allow you to play and pause music, change tracks, click pictures, and navigate applications. boAt Smart Ring also has an SOS mode but it’s unclear how that works. The company claims up to 7 days of battery life on a single charge.
