Honor 10 Lite Launched in Nepal: Wait for the Redmi Note 7?

honor 10 lite launched

The Honor 10 Lite launched about some 4 months ago in the international market. Targeted towards the younger audience as claimed, and flaunting the trendy dual gradient colors, they look like typical Honor devices. And the specs it packs are also pretty relevant, in terms of today. And that phone is now available for purchase in Nepal for Rs. 24,990.

Honor 10 Lite Overview

The Honor 10 Lite has a large 6.21″ LCD screen up front with Full HD+ resolution, that fits in a 5.2″ body. The glass look-like plastic body flaunts gradient colors in an eye-candy design.

In the camera department, the rear setup packs dual cameras – a 13 MP primary lens with f/1.8 aperture, and a 2 MP depth sensor. The front camera is a 24 MP lens with f/2.0 aperture. The Honor 10 Lite is mostly about its Ai abilities in the camera. It is programmed to learn from your selfie preferences over time. Also, it enables you to change the shape of a face, color, eye-colors, surrounding light, and even whiten your teeth! For those who are mostly using Beauty Cam or something like that, this is great!

Inside the shiny body, a HiSilicon Kirin 710 powers the phone, which can deliver good mid-tier performance. The variant that’s available in Nepal has 3GB RAM variants and 64 GB internal storage. There is also an option for expandable storage of up to 512 GB that uses the secondary SIM slot. This phone packs a 3400 mAh battery with Fast Charging features and USB-C. And this phone, thankfully, features the 3.5mm headphone jack.

The phone runs on EMUI 9.0.1 based on Android 9.0 Pie, with features like Adaptive Battery, Adaptive Brightness and Android Dashboard out of the box. Also, it features the Turbo Boost 2.0 as well.

Honor 10 Lite Price in Nepal & Availability

The Honor 10 Lite is now available in Nepal via offline retail channels. And just as the previous Honor phones prices in Nepal when they launched, this one too is a bit overpriced in my opinion, especially considering the phone was launched 4 months ago.

For the same price, you can get Realme 2 Pro which I think is a better value than the Honor 10 Lite. The Realme 2 Pro has way better cameras and performance, however, it misses out on type-C and fast charging. Also, the Redmi Note 7 is coming very soon, so you might want to wait for that.
