Launched back in November 2022, the Honor 80 Pro was one of the first smartphones to sport a 200MP camera. According to rumors, its successor, the Honor 90 Pro, is currently in the works. And based on the leaks that have emerged thus far, it appears that the new model will be only a slight upgrade from its predecessor. Honor 90 Pro Rumors:
The Honor 90 series has received network access approval from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). Cameras
The popular tipster, Digital Chat Station (DCS), has leaked the initial details about the upcoming Honor 90 Pro. As per him, the smartphone will feature the same primary camera as the 80 Pro, which is a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 sensor.
However, in the 80 Pro, Honor restricted the sensor's resolution to 160MP for some reasons. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether the company will utilize the full capacity of the 200MP camera this time around.
Likewise, the device is expected to come with the same 50MP ultrawide and 2MP depth sensors as its predecessor. Additionally, Honor will retain the dual selfie camera, consisting of a 50MP primary and 2MP depth lens.

Apart from the cameras, the Honor 90 Pro is expected to share similar specifications with the 80 Pro. This means that the device will sport a 6.78-inch OLED display with 2.5K resolution. And the smartphone is rumored to retain the same Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Battery-wise, it will come with a 4800mAh battery that supports 66W wired and 5W reverse wired charging capabilities.
