Honor unveils Band 7 with AMOLED display, 14-days battery life

Honor has launched its latest fitness wearable, the Honor Band 7 in China. Successor to the Band 6, it features similar specifications and features as the Huawei Band 7 that is already available in Nepal. In this article, we will go through the specs, features, availability, and expected price of Honor Band 7 in Nepal. 

Honor Band 7 Overview:

Body

The Honor Band 7 has a design that is similar to its predecessor. In other words, it has a rectangular dial encased in a high-gloss metal frame and a silicon wristband for a comfortable and secure fit. The display measures 1.47 inches and is protected by 2.5D glass. It is an AMOLED screen with 282 PPI for clear and vibrant visuals. Honor has provided a side button for control. The wearable is available in three different colors: Rose Pink, Cedar Blue, and Magic Night Black.

Features

The Honor Band 7 includes all of the standard health-tracking features that one would expect from a fitness band. It uses an accelerometer, gyroscope, and optical heart rate sensors to enable features health monitoring features like continuous blood oxygen monitoring, heart rate monitoring, and sleep tracking. Similarly, the band supports over 96 sports modes, 11 of which are professional modes for tracking your regular fitness activities. It is also water resistant to 5ATM standards. The Honor Sports App allows you to view all of your health metrics in great detail. The app also employs AI to provide insights into your overall health. The band supports Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity.

Furthermore, the Band 7 is said to have a battery life of more than 14 days with normal use. However, under heavy usage, the run-time drops to 10 days. It charges magnetically at a speed of 5V/1A.

The Band 7 is launched in China for CNY 249 and it will officially go on sale on January 6. We expect the price of Honor Band 7 to be NPR 5,999, if and when it launches in Nepal.
