Honor Play10 4G Price in Nepal

Honor dropped the Play10 in Nepal back in September last year. It retailed at just NPR 10,999, making it one of the most affordable phones in the country at the time. But with a series of price hikes, the Play10 is now nearly 60% costlier! So in this article, I will be going through everything you need to know about the new Honor Play10 (aka Honor Play 10), including its latest official price in Nepal.

      Honor Play10 Overview:

      Display and Design

The Honor Play10 has a 6.74-inch LCD panel with an HD (1600 x 720 px) resolution. It's got a teardrop notch to house the front and pretty thick bezels at the bottom. At 167.7 x 77.7 x 8.55 mm and 189 grams, the Honor Play10 isn't exactly tiny, but it's manageable.

The Play10's "Starry Purple" color option didn't make its way to Nepal, but it's available in Ocean Cyan and Midnight Black finishes. Other than this, Honor's super-affordable budget phone also gets an official IP52 rating, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and 4G LTE connectivity.

      Performance and software

Inside, there’s a MediaTek Helio G81 (12nm) chipset with up to 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. Its storage is available up to a terabyte using a microSD card as well, although the Play10 is available in a 3/64GB configuration only in Nepal.

We've also seen that MediaTek chip in a couple of dozen phones at this point, and we can already tell you that the Honor Play10 should handle basic social media usage and video playback. But nothing beyond that. It runs on Android Go (most likely the Go Edition of Android 15), and we're not expecting much in terms of software updates either.

      Camera and battery

A 13MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera handle the photography and video call side of things on the Honor Play10. It's powered by a decent 5,000 mAh battery that supports 10W charging, which should last you around two days under normal use.

Honor has been aggressively pushing silicon-carbon battery tech on most of its phones, so we're a little surprised that the Play10 is still using a traditional Lithium-Polymer battery. Maybe Si-Ca batteries don't make economic sense on ultra-affordable phones for now.
