Honor X6d launched with Dimensity 6300 5G SoC and 50MP Camera

Right at the tail end of last year, Honor launched the Honor Play 60A in China, and now the phone has quietly made its way overseas in the form of the Honor X6d. This device comes with a 5G chipset, a 50MP camera, and a 5,260mAh battery. Here in this piece of news, we'll delve into the specs, features, and expected price of Honor X6d in Nepal.

Design and Display

Starting with the design, the Honor Play 60A features a standard budget-friendly style, very similar to the Honor 60A Play. It has a flat middle frame combined with a large bottom chin that houses the display, topped with a U-shaped notch. Honor offers this model in two colors: Midnight Black and Ocean Cyan.

You get a  6.75-inch LCD display with a 720p+ resolution. It’s a large panel for media consumption and basic tasks with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate.

Performance

Under the hood, the X6d runs on the Dimensity 6300 chipset—a 6nm chip optimized for 5G connectivity and efficiency rather than heavy performance. Paired with 4GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, it can handle daily apps, social media, and light multitasking without issue. In terms of software, the phone runs Android 15 with Honor’s MagicOS 9.

Camera

The biggest upgrade over the Play 60A is the rear camera. The X6d packs a 50MP f/2.0 single camera, a notable jump from the 13MP lens on the former. While it’s limited to 1080p @ 30fps video recording, the improvement in photo quality should be better. On the front, there’s a 5MP f/2.2 selfie camera, unchanged from the Play 60A, which is enough for video calls and casual selfies.

Battery and Others

Moreover, the phone gets its juice from a 5,260mAh battery, which should last for a full day. Charging speed is not fully disclosed, though. Likewise, connectivity features include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, 5G, and a USB-C port.
