Honor X70 Pro Max debuts with a massive 8,560mAh battery and an IP69K rating

Honor has officially launched the X70 Pro Max, expanding its durable X-series smartphone lineup. The new phone features a 6.79-inch AMOLED display, a large 8,560mAh battery, an IP69K rating, and a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset. Design and Display

Starting with the design, the Honor X70 Pro Max features ultra-thin, uniform bezels, a lightweight plastic frame, and the brand's signature circular camera module on the rear. It measures 7.76mm in thickness and weighs around 196g.

The phone comes with IP66, IP68, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. Additionally, it carries Honor's self-developed Gold Standard 10-sided drop resistance certification, which claims protection against drops from heights of up to 2.5 meters onto hard surfaces. The device is available in Bamboo Green, Phantom Purple, Phantom Night Black, and Sunburst Gold color options.

Moving on to the display, the Honor X70 Pro Max sports a 6.79-inch AMOLED panel with a 1200 × 2640 resolution, delivering sharp text and vivid images. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a snappy experience. 

The screen can reach up to 6,000 nits of peak brightness, improving outdoor visibility under direct sunlight. It also covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut for vibrant colors and supports 3840Hz PWM dimming to reduce eye strain during prolonged usage.

Under the hood, the Honor X70 Pro Max is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC, built on a 4nm node. It is paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage, providing ample space for apps, games, and media files. 

On the software side, the Honor X70 Pro Max runs on MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. This software brings various AI upgrades and features, including productive tools like AI Image Cutout, AI anti-reflective, and a voice-controlled water and dust ejection system.

While it has yet to be announced in the local market, if it does get here, one can expect the Honor X70 Pro Max price in Nepal to be around NPR 44,899 for the base variant.
