Honor Play11 Plus Overview
Design and Display
Starting off, the Honor Play11 Plus uses a Vacuum Die-Cast metal unibody instead of a cheap plastic option, making the chassis more robust, rigid, and durable. It has a sleek design, measuring 7.34 mm thick and weighing 185 grams, making it relatively lightweight despite packing a large battery. As a result, you should feel more comfortable holding it than most battery-focused smartphones.
Interestingly, Play11 Plus shares a similar camera island design to the Honor 600e. And it has the IP66 rating against dust and water. You also get to choose between “Sunrise Gold", and “Moon Embracing Silver” variants.

Up front, you get a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution for crisp and sharp visuals. Play11 Plus also supports HDR10+ and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage so that you get an immersive viewing experience. It also has a peak brightness of 6500 nits, which is essential for HDR content.
Besides this, you do not have to struggle much with outdoor visibility as it has the 2000-nit HBM mode. Further scrolling in this device should also be smooth enough thanks to its 120Hz refresh rate. It also has a high 3840Hz PWM dimming so that your eyes remain safe during extended-hour use.
Performance and Software
Under the hood, Honor Play11 Plus uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6500 Elite SoC built on a 6nm Processor. While this isn't positioned as a flagship-grade processor, it should be capable of handling everyday tasks such as social media, video streaming, web browsing, and multitasking without major issues.
Memory-wise, it has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, offering plenty of space that is unlikely to be insufficient anytime soon after purchase. On the software side, this phone ships with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. Honor has been steadily improving its software experience in recent years by adding plenty more AI-powered features and better system optimization.

Camera and Battery
For optics, the Honor Play11 Plus keeps it simple with a 50MP f/1.8 main camera on the back, an upgrade over the 13MP f/1.8 module in its predecessor. With this camera setup, you can expect good daytime photos, but low-light performance fully depends on the Play11 Plus's image-processing capabilities. In front, you get an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

Battery is another highlight of this phone, with an upgraded 7000mAh capacity compared to the 5200mAh in the Honor Play9A. This phone supports 45W wired charging and 6W reverse wired charging. With this battery, Honor claims it will last more than a day for casual use, so you don't have to worry about charging it frequently.
